Kitties! Mom was gone for over an hour after she got a few things done this moring...(very few!!) and when she came back home she was reeking, just reeking of cat! Unknown cats! Mom! Get that stuff off you! How dare you! Come home smelling to high heaven of cats I don't even know. I would be just as mad if I DID know them. But strangers? Have you lost your mind?
She told me she petted a kitten to sleep. She didn't disturb him trying to pick him up as he was resting, and he was enjoying the soft stroking. Mom said he was like dandelion fluff he was so soft.
There was a tortie with blonde eyeliner too. The tortie came by for about 15 seconds of total back stroking...left...and minutes landed with a thump by Mom again and got back pets again. All in all she had little contact with anyone. There were other people in there too and they were playing with the other kittens. Mom's kitten was zonked. And the Tortie was wary. The other adults or close to adults were still a little stand-offish to humans. Not real bad, but not encouraging petting. Mom got hissed at when she tried with a black cat.

Furom da hooman point of view Katie, Lynn would luv to go there. It looked kinda like a Maltese like me was there! It was NOT me. At least yer mommy came home with an empty PTU!
Oh, a cat café! How wonderful! We briefly had one here years ago, but it was short-lived, unfortunately. Katie, of course your mom loves you best, but cafés like this help kitties be seen...and get adopted!

Aww, it's OK, Katie. Mom was just sharing the love, but you know you are the star of her world. Maybe she should bring one of those kitties home to meet you.

Well, if it was a public place, I think your mum can be excused, Katie. I hope the other cats there become used to humans. It's their ticket to a happy home.

Katie, was your mom at a Cat Cafe? It does appear as if she enjoyed herself. If she was there or at a shelter, she was petting homeless cats, so you should not begrudge them a tiny bit of affection. What a cool place, Katie. Say, you know, dad has a wandering eye in this department, too. I know he's itching for another visit to Tabby's Place just over the river, and I also know he and mom both like seeing the kitties at PetSmart when they go for my food.
