Dear Kitties and Woofies, and Parents
You may not know this blogger, but she comments on quite a few of our blogs in the CB. Her name is Mariette. She has five kitties but one loved one, Dido, passed last night and Mariette is saddened beyond telling as the rest of us are too, when our babies leave us.

Thank you so much for mentioning our sweet Dido boy!
Wish he'd reached 18 years... but he sure did live his 16 years happily and then almost 8 months as bonus.
It is never enough as a parent, we're so attached to them and so used.
But also grateful for all the love we received over the years!
WISH there would be more responsible pet parents out there.

I visited and sent my condolences. Most of us know what such a loss is like, yet each is unique. It's very sad, very sad.

That's very sad, we stopped by for a visit. There's a memorial posted on the CB today.
We left a condolence message: Angel Dido was so very much like our Celestial Chuck.
I'm so sad and sorry to hear this, Katie! My heart goes out to Mariette and Pieter and their kitties. I know that it's so hard to lose an animal friend.

That is very sad. I have seen her comments on your blog. I will go and leave my condolences.
We didn't know of her blog, but then we saw her comment on "Mark's Mews" and the penny dropped We realized we had read her words often. We sent her purrayers and POTP and hope for good memories. We always feel bad when a beloved fir friend dies.

Yes, I have been to see Dido's Mom and had some hopefully comforting words to say. Dido was such a sleek and handsome fellow. I'm sure he is safe and happy at the Bridge.
