Kitties! Mom just made chili. Ew. I smell it all over the house and on her too. Bet *I* smell like that! I should call the police.
Do you kitties feel like telling poor mom how to schedule her posts? Seems like there is no longer the scheduler we used to have before Google pulled the plug on our follow one another feature. She can't find it. Please tell the poor thing! She felt like she HAD to write my Gotcha Day a day ahead of time because she couldn't;t make her feeble mind (sorry, mommy) work hard enough to find any instructions! Poor thing.
Mom said she's brushing me (she is) and using that really cool curved tines thingy-brushie that she bought from Amazon. I LOVE it. She showed it to me from the doorway of our bedroom, said "Katie" and I looked up from her pillow and believe it or not, I said "Um"? in a questioning tone. I did. It really was a questioning tone. I jumped straight down and ran for the bathroom where I monorail on the tub and get scraped and brushed. I have two brushies, and three combs. If I am lucky I get a taste of all of them. But she said to tell you for some reason I am looking a bit unkempt. (*I* say, "AS IF"!!!!! Boy furs aren't glowing as they were and I have some skin flakes. I'm not eating odd things but mom can't find my regular good-for-me-food anymore. She thinks the manufacturers quit making cat food. We're eating leftovers that were stores. In any case, her doesn't believe at all "aluminum shortage" and all that. I remember she went down that road a few blogs ago with you. So I made her stop now.
We aren't sure why my furs are looking a bit off. I get brushed all the time. Maybe because I am a Grande Dame now? (older).
She is much much better now from her acute bronchitis and sinusitis. She said she didn't see a cute thing about it. She was in misery, but her better now.
Oh and I won't get off the bed hardly at all. Or her pillow. Or her.
Mom and I will see ya on the other side. OH! And all four of Micah's tires were practically flat this morning ( he is a handsome shining black Toyota Corolla LE!) ( very prideful, he is) when she left to go to the dentist at 0830. 22 degrees should not have done that but, it did.

You should be able to see the scheduler. When you go to Blogger dashboard, on the right hand side there is a dropdown menu below labels. When you click to drop it you can have your post publish automatically or put in the day and time you want. When you have finished don't forget to click publish which it will do on your chosen time and date.

Hoping this new brushie will make a difference but certainly good food makes ALL the difference.
I'd ordered some cat food (not available at the store...😒 on Amazon but if it does not arrive by tomorrow, I'll get my money back. We can't have the cat–sitter come to the house without any foods...?!
Tough times and what can we expect more to come our way. AND we are all seniors, kitties and humans.

Mariette + kitties (oh Wednesday we had to catch 3 kitty siblings; Bandido, Spunky girl and their sister Tiggy-Tiger to put them in a pet carrier and off to the vet (around the corner) for Rabies shots. Bandido vomits on and off, makes you worry too. We worry as kitty moms. Later afternoon I had a basal cell cancer cut out deeper on my mid back above waist... FUN Wednesday!

We have trash pickup 2x a week. So TBT uses that as a good scheduler. The plants in the house get watered every trash day. They like THAT. And um, our "used stuff" gets put out too.
How wonderful to have a new brush, we're all big fans of brushing here too sweet Katie. Y'all keep warm!

The shelves being empty of our noms...both feline and canine is so frustrating and annoying. We could starve.
We get ours on order form Chewy, and so did the kitties before...supplemented with other yummies from the pet shop, where we can order too if we don't see it in stock.
We just got a call for a supplement for Benji that took about two months to come in...phooey.

In the Winter, the air is dry, and it makes cat fur hold onto more bits of dirt and stuff like that.

We write and then blog because we don't trust that it won't disappear I am sorry you were abused via brush.
Katie you always look fab - with or without brushing but you know if it's super dry in our humble homes we might get some flakes....dry skin stuff which actually is probably why brushing and combing feels SO DARN GOOD on our skins! Anyway, we have trouble getting my foods as they are not sold in our grocery and Mom has to order....sometimes she has to try two or three sites before she scores some. It's not right! Doggies seem to have plenty of foodables but cat???? NOT SO MUCH! Anyway, glad your Mom is better - we have to take care of our humans don't we. Poor things.

Nothing like good old brushies, am I right? Dad used to stress about our blogging, but now he just posts when he can, typically trying to stick to about twice a week. He says he hated it when it felt like a chore. We're glad your mom is feeling better, too.
Katie, no matter what the season, I think you always look good.
I bet the comb feels good. As I have short fur, mum uses the Zoom Groom and I love that!!!
So far we have not been bothered by food shortages too much.

That brushie sounds interesting. Mom uses the furminator on us. Noelle loves it and jumps on the bathroom counter all the time to get furminated.
Yikes on the temps being so low the tires went flat!!!!

I'm not a fan of the brush Katie. Mom bean says being a short haired cat I can get away with it...most of the time.
Glad to hear your mom bean is feeling better. As for the tires getting flat, our mom bean says that doesn't sound good. We has cold weather here too.
Sometimes in wnter the furnace dries the air out and that can effect your skin and coat. Purrs.
We had a blog on Blogger until 2015 and deleted it. We can see it in bits using the Wayback Machine internet archive, but we don't miss it.Humidity maight have something to do with your brushing problem or maybe a new shampoo. We are not liking baths here much at all.
Mom's tires looked normal, but there were 4 tire warning lights on her dashboard screen. It was cold outside, and she knew that's what made the tires low, but she went to the tire place anyway, and the guy put air in all the tires. No charge, but she gave him a tip.
Your furs always look fluffy and shiny to us, so I guess the brushing is worthwhile. When Mom brushes me I lose my mind and run around in circles like the devil is chasing me. She calls me the word Knucklehead.

We are sure you could neffur look unkempt, but if your furs are a bit less shiny and your skin flaky, you could try what the v-e-t recommended for Shimshi and that is Omega Oils. We use VetIQ Skin and Coat.

Your mum's bronchitis took a long time to schedule its departure, but I'll bet she's glad it's going. Man, that sounded like quite the ordeal for her.
Katie, Kozmo says you have the silkiest furs ever and that he loves that! And your poor car Micah! Our car sends Mom email when his tires are getting low. Mom got an email the other night that they needed filling. he also emails her about anything he feels is wrong with him! Mom says she has never had a car that sent her email. We are glad your Mom is better. You are the bestest nurse ever!
my stars girl your mom has SOME NERVE OF SOME TYPE OF NERVE to even THINK that your furs are in disarray for lack of a better word though I daresay that the odor of the chili alone would make any cats furs want to hide as it were if furs can even hide so purrhaps a wee bit of fish oil no joke because of the whole trout towne thing would help your coat some and it's now 2:19 PM EST see you at the airport in 5 with hugs from dai$y =^..*= ♥♥
Luckily my mum doesn't cook chili so no stinkies here. The kale she does cook sometimes stinks the place out though.

Dears, Mickey Mouser has some issues with his skin and the vet suggested Omega 3 oil. The kind we get is made by Nordic Naturals. You can get it from Chewy or Amazon. A squirt in a saucer, and Mickey laps it right up. Ernie loves it too. It didn’t solve Mickey’s problem but the two boy have thick beautiful hairs. Rufus doesn’t like it and his coat is not as nice. Please don’t tell him.
