Kitties! Bizzy bizzy. Taking bro back to his place in a few minutes. He had scrambled eggs, four of 'em, and some bacon. With the price of bacon having just about tripled, we may not be having any more. She could buy H****l's bacon pieces instead...they are good! She never buys the fake stuff...just the real bacon morsels. Then Mom rips into cleaning house and sad to say, she loves Saturday Westerns and they'll be blaring as she cleans. I swear she tries to hear over the vacuum. Sheesh! Can you say LOUD!

Boomie's mommy made this a year ago and sent it to me. Admiral was in love with Boomie(and she was in love with Spitty, Kozmo, and Austin and Rupert too) so when she went to Heaven, I took over all her mancats. Boomie , Spitty and me....we became an item. (well, the other mancats were here just as often truth be told. {You know us girlcats}). These appear to be made from fondant. Do you remember Whisspy? Cathy the mommy, quit blogging after Whisspy passed. I miss them all so much.

So sad that the Mommy quit blogging but we all know how emotional we can get over the loss of one of our fur babies.
Glad your Mom is able to do lots of cleaning. I've had an easy week, after that solo driving into and out of Tennessee.

I had no idea about the price of bacon - my human hates it (unfortunately, because I love it!), so it doesn't make a difference here.

Awwwww..........that's such a cute little memento! Bacon hasn't gone up here but maybe it will eventually. Lots of other things are ridiculously expensive though and Mom and Dad are convinced that's the way it will stay. At least I still get my favorite foodables AND the occasional treat I love. Mom says she may cut back on other stuff but NEVER on stuff for ME ME ME ME! Happy Sunday Katie....I will be away all this coming week but will be back online on Saturday the 16th.

It's hard to believe that pork, bacon especially, was once a poor man's food. Even until late in the twentieth century, bacon was cheap. Everyone who had a small bit of yard could keep a pig. Cheese, too was a good, wholesome cheap food. Now, nothing is cheap except junk-food, and not even that in some cases.
As for scrambled eggs, I always eat four at a time, though three when I boil or fry.
Loss is difficult, even when folks haven't met in person. ~hugs~ Those figurines are adorable! As for noise, maybe your mom should order something called 'TV ears' (I think) for the hard-of-hearing to listen to their television. :D

What is it with humans and noise?
Luckily my mum is very sensitive to noise and can sympathize with us kitties who are also sensitive so tries not to do too much noisy stuff around the house. If she listens to loud music she will listen in headphones so she won't disturb me (she likes heavy rock and metal - weird for a noise-sensitive!)
Our Mom says that Alex working the late shift means she does NOT do as much cleaning as she used to. She is a morning person and by the afternoon, she does not feel like working anymore. THus the carpet is hard to see under our furs, there is dust and the floors need a good scrub and she is woefully behind on the renos. We think she is making excuses. Yes we do miss some of the bloggers, but there are new ones we enjoy and Kozmo will be by to pick up Katie this afternoon!

Mom stopped reading when she reached: I took over all her mancats! and lol'ed like cray crazy. Many humans wish they can do that.

Mommy always has stuff on in the background when she cleans. It's so annoying!
A little bacon goes a long way for us kitties, so when TBT cooks a slice, we want a bit but not much. And some tiny bits of cheese. He makes omelets 2x a week, so he has that stuff ta share.
