She also pressed the top of her head very firmly into my arm, underarm and leg for a few seconds at a time. Her final thing was to mash her sweet nosey all warm and dry, into MY nose. She got all the way up to my face where I had to look crosseyed to see her face, and she was purring like an outboard motor. She mashed that adorable snooter into mine. And she chirped a lot as she did. I got her teefs rubbed on me a lot too. Her lips moved up as she was rubbing against me firmly for scenting purposes, so I got teefs too.
There were sweet sounds, loud LOUD purrs and trills and chirps. OH...and when we headed to bed, she laid there long enough to make sure that was me and I was there. She left me for less than a minute and the announcements started coming in. Within seconds, Donkey was placed right against my stomach there in bed. She hopped down and I got four of her babies all told.
Little "mommy, where are you?" tiny mews several times today as I was in here and she was in another part of the house as she came searching.
I said in Face Book yesterday one return from over the mountains that there is no more pure love on the earth than a beloved pets love for their mom or dad. And we love them right back.

So sweet! It took me, Toby, a full day to forgive mom for her overnight trip, but once I did...I really let her know that I missed her lots.
Katie is so very precious. There's nothing like the love from kitties to make our hearts melt. It is most definitely pure love.

What a sweet post and I all too well know this LOVING and making up for lost times. How in the world can still people that don't love cats, tell that they are not as attached or loyal as a dog? NOT TRUE! They give all they have and that is a LOT.

As I always say, animals get it. They know what is important. They are genuine and love unconditionally.
How VERY sweet.....Katie missed you so much and wanted you to have absolutely NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, she is your baby PERIOD. What a wonderful homecoming reunion. There's nothing like unconditional love is there!

M here: I've always said that Katie is extra special. She goes above board with showing you love and affection. You two have a very special bond that doesn't happen all the time. Mario is our special boy, but even he doesn't do half the things to show it like Katie does. You gotta love that girl and we do.

Awww....how sweet! My three are happy to see me when I return from a trip, but it usually means they all hit the bed at the same time I do at night. I can't say any of them have ever loved on me like Katie did for you. That girl sure loves her momma!

We always laugh when someone says pets only like food or some such drivel. That is because they cannot have a connection with a marvelous living thinking and caring person who just happens to wear fur and speaks another language that they cannot figure out. Purrs Katie
