A great good meowning to all of you Kitties and Woofies.
We had good family time..or Mom and the brother from over the mountains sure did. They went to the other favorite brother's home a few miles away, and they all had a wonderful family time. They had a delicious meal. Mom said out of respect for the Tabbies, we can't say what the main dish was...but we had that and all the trimmings. Mom took a cake she made with her and they ate on that too and brought home 2 pieces for her and brother to have later.
So many kitty friends had funny cartoons about us kitties on their bloggies! We enjoyed every one of them.
Mom asked Santa for a faucet that would not keep dripping but Santa laughed and went on with his usual business. So Mom will head out today and buy one to have ready if she can find a plumber willing to install it. Plumbers are hard to come by here except the one who is the most expensive of all.
We hope each one of you had a warm and wonderful time for Christmas. Here it was and still is bitterly cold outside and a windchill well below zero. Now at least the temp has risen above 0 and 2 for the high.
Let me show you where I have stayed to avoid chill in this not well insulated old house.
See my tent mom brought out? Keeps me very warm! And a sun puddle appeared too.![]() |

Katie Isabella, a very Merry Christmas to you and your mommy. Nice she had human family time. I bet they did not eat mouse either. We were so furry lucky with the storm here. The furnace never quit yet. That was Santa's gift to us. Precious
PS, luv the cartoons.
hose are great funnies, Miss Katie. It sounds like its been perilously cold over your way. Stay warm!
Purrs,
The Chans
Very amusing except for the photo of the cat stopping the train. I have that problem. they don't stop and look both ways!
Merry Christmas, Katie! We're glad your mom and family were together. ❤️
We love those funnies, thanks for the chuckle!
Take care and stay warm and safe. That's crazy cold for your part of the continent!
I am glad you all had a good family Christmas. The cartoons made me smile
Hello sweet Katie, I'm glad you and your Mom had a nice Christmas and those funnies sure are!
If you lived near me, I would send my hubby over to install your faucet. His mechanical engineering degree comes in handy with stuff like that. Glad you had a nice Christmas and you found a way to keep warm. XO
So glad you had a purrfect Christmas! Last month we had to get a whole new sink! We give plumbers lots of business, unfortunately...
Hope you can find a good plumber that won't charge an arm and a leg.
Love all the funnies.
I'm glad you had a great Christmas and we did too.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
Merry Christmas Katie, and to your mom bean too!
The sun puddle looks lovely - it's been cloudy here. But I got a new nip toy and a wand toy from Santy Paws, so I'm a pretty happy kitty.
It sounds like your family had a lovely visit, i pray you have a blessed last week of 2022!
All trains delayed until further notice.
OMCs Katie Isabella our kitchen faucet had a blow out over the weekend.
It is the kind with a handheld wane. A button on the top gives you either a spray or a solid flow. Well the thingamagig (that is a techie term) that controls the solid flow, which is always on unless to touch the button, came flying out no way to get it back in. Now the solid flow is just like Niagara Falls with twice the power. I had to put a piece of tape on the handle to remind me to turn it on slowly. Getting a plumber right now will be a bit dicey as so many folks had busted pipes due to sub zero weather.
Hugs Cecilia
That little tent of yours looks snug, indeed, Katie. I remember one of my foster-cats had a fuzzy tent; it went with her when she was adopted. None of my other cats seemed to have liked the idea of tents. Sigh...
MOL!!! Those pictures were too funny!!!!!!!!!!
So good to hear your mum had a pawsome Christmas...and you too.
Looks like you got some good presents too!
Purrs, Julie
Hi Katie! Boy you made us laugh! We loved all the cartoons. We are so happy that you guys had a terrific Christmas. We did too!
Kozmo is quite looking forward to seeing Katie this weekend! Everything is katie "this" and Katie "that". Purrs Marv
Katie, we did indeed have a wonderful Christmas here, and we are so happy to know you and Mom did, too. Stay warm, okay? XO
Dearest Katie Isabella,
Wow, so happy for your Mom and for you for having had company and good food!
Love those cartoons—especially all those empty boxes for kitties and the secret Santa.
Finally able to visit blogs and catching up on things.
Big hugs,
Mariette
We are glad your Mom had a good time with family. We don't mind not getting ta share food. TBT cooks his meats with nasty stuff. Garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, HERBS! But sometimes he just boils some chick-hen without anything, "just fer us".
Wish you well with the plumber. TBT brought a guy here last year to install a new food shredder unner the sink and replace the faucet with a kind he had in the truck. TBT wishes he had bought a fancier higher one, but he couldn't understand which one would match the holes in the sink.
Loved all the cartoons! Maybe because of the season, we liked the Secret Santa one best.
We're so happy to hear that you had a wonderful Christmastime, Katie and Mom💗 We had a cold one as the heater was broken at once....and it took almost two days before it could get fixed by the heating installer🙈 Thank you for the cartoons, they made us MOL😸Double Pawkisses from us to the both of you🐾😽💞
The Trojan cat made me laugh so hard. Thank you for the precious images and funny bits. Be well!
