No Sunpuddles for a long time

Kitties!  Mom saw last weekend she told me, that rain would start then, and continue from Monday through the following Monday,  All seven days,  It is Thursday, so three more days of constant rain.  NO sunpuddles to enjoy.

Mom has to go to the Big City with Brovver today.  He's with us now.  He has his place still, but it's easier just now to be here with us.

Did you see what Mom put in Face Book?  The picture of the stump of the rotten Hickory tree that used to overhang our house?  When they cut it down the knocked and had mom come out and see.  A nigh on perfect cat was the shape of the rotted place in the trunk. A back view...including tail.  You can see the right arm of the cat who seems turned slightly to the right.  The left arm extending to the ground.  The tail.  A mouse hole at the midline that the cat seems interested in. .

Just in case you didn't see it.  Mom doesn't have a kazillion friends on FB, so you may not have seen it,

How wonderful for you to have Broover with you all the time possible.
Don't do FB here, so I like seeing the hickory. Thank goodness it had
not broken off in a storm to hit your furrever home, Katie. Was the inside
of the kitty hole big enough for you to get in? No sun here and no heat.
Will mom bring home some Fancy Feast if she can find it?

Yes, I saw the 'cat in the tree' image on FB; we cat lovers see images of cats everywhere, but this one is spot on.
The Hubby and I haven't had many people in our place in years now, but I did visit with family yesterday at my mother's condo; lots of yakety yak and food consumption!

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Yes, that is a striking cat image inside that 'rotten' tree.
So glad it came down as it would no doubt have ended up on the roof after some stormy weather!
Always something going on when having trees around...
Hoping the trip to the big city went well.
Hugs,
Mariette

We see the cat, Katie, thanks for posting that great pic! (We had deleted our FB account a few years ago, so no way to see it there!)

Our best to your brother, Katie, purrs if he needs them (or anyone else in your family). ♥

The cat living in your Hickory tree has been released to a new life!!
How amazing to find that inside the stump/trunk. Wonder if the rest of the trunk had been evenly sliced, you might have had more tree kitties? But we still love yours!

Is there some way to preserve it besides in a picture?

That is a lovely image of a black cat. I do have a FB account but very rarely use it. I was going to delete it several years ago but Ivor likes to use it.

We see the cat but we don't think a cat made it. ;-) Oh, and we woke up to a layer of snow today! We weren't expecting that but it's gone now.

That is fascinating.

My human saw that stump! Although the cat shape is cool, it is a really good thing that tree is gone.

We haven't seen this before. What an amazing image. It looks so natural and is turning like an actual cat.

Katie my dear we did see that old hickory tree and the amazing kitty shape in the middle. It's amazing. Glad you don't have to worry about that tree falling down on you though!! We hope Big Brovver is OK. We know you like it when he's with you so we know you will take good care of him. We have had weird weather here.....in the 70s then down to the 30s.....rain and sleet but no snow. WE WANT SPRING!

Hugs, Teddy

Fun with broover sounds good, Katie! And that cat image from the tree is impressive! Sad about lack of sunpuddle, though. It's cloudy here today, too.

I could recognize the cat straight away! How strange.

Rain is needed but too much rain is a pain

That tree kitty is pretty amazing. We're hoping the sun comes to your house soon, KI. Our house, too. We didn't have crazy rains, but there was an ice storm today that was pretty slippery. I didn't pull Mom because she threatened to fall over if I did. We made it OK, and the ice started melting a little this afternoon.

Love and licks,
Cupcake

I was saddened by the tree being cut down, but it was clearly its time. It might've crashed into the house at some point soon.

There is a definitely a cat in that tree trunk!

Enjoy your time with Brovver.

Sorry about all that rain, Katie. But we hope having brovver there brightens things for you and Mom. We see the cat in that old trunk, for sure!

We saw it, but We didn't see the cat, at first.
It's a shame you've had all that rain. We also had rain most of Friday and Saturday, but today is bright and sunny, so if you like, you can teleport over for a visit. We'd love to have you over.
