My human keeps her real leather boots in the closet because she worries I'll try to eat them! The fake leather ones stay out because I don't bother them.

Toesie smooching is one of those things that some Moms find irresistible....my Mom does that once in a while with me although since I go outside all the time she has to be careful there's nothing WEIRD between my toesies!

We bet you only nibble and that is fine sweet girl. Oh those toesies and cheeks are smoochable. Dad had a Siamese who, one day, decided all his shoes were fun to bitey and scratch. Nibbling is all right. One day, someone (Tucker?) wet in my shoes... It was a single incident; he didn't have an infection or any other complainbt - except against those shoes, obviously.
Our Saku likes to sniff shoes and rub on them, but mom bean doesn't think he's efur chewed on them. Enjoy your sun puddle Katie!
