Kitties, I am sure grateful for each and every one of you, my dear furriends. I have always been grateful but this is a good day to tell you that. We here in the CB are as close as the family we are, and it is a privilege to be a member of this big family. We are all here for one another no matter the occasion...joyful and sometimes-- deeply sad. 💗
Mom was at sticky person's house a few weeks ago and look at this chipmunk..bold as brass on a pirate's waistcoat! Right there at the top of the bird feeder!!! Mom said she was lucky to catch him still so as to take the picture. Not composed at all...you catch when you can. See the little cute thief? Look carefully at the top of the bird feeder holder. That is a silver maple tree in their front yard by the way...just in case you were wondering.
pee ess: After reading reviews about that tunnel with the brushie on it, we have changed our minds. VERY small in depth. I am a substantial girl.

What a great capture of the chipmunk! I see chipmunks around here, too, but only sometimes.
Happy Fursday xoxo
Oh those chipmunks and squirrels do like to eat the bird seeds. Too bad about the tunnel with the scratcher in it.
He's very cute as far as thieves go...MOL!

Katie, you and your mommy are so sweet and we're very thankful for you both! That chipmunk is bold. Your mom got a good picture of him (or her).
That's a shame about the tunnel. Hopefully, another, much better, one will pop up here in the states.
That is one cute chipmunk. Now I have to tell you a chipmunk story. My Dad stores his birdseed bags in a lidded full size trashcan in the garage. One day he was getting a scoop of birdseed out and a chipmunk jumped OUT of the trashcan! I guess the lid had not been put on completely. That little guy had found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
OH MY COD! I am amazed he could MOVE!
Cute photo! The only feeder we have is the hummingbird feeder under the eaves, and not even the most clever squirrel or chipmunk can get at that.
Welcome my furriend.
That would be great fun to watch out the window on bird TV!
He looks...kinda tasty!
We love you super bunches too sweet Katie!!!
That's a silly chipmunk, Katie. We have squirrels around here that are like that. Always stealing the birdie food.
That chipmunk looks. . . well, delishus is the word that springs to mind, MOL! XOXOXOXO Love yoU!
Yes, the little brown tunnel is small. I love to crawl inside and nap but it isn't very roomy.
Mr. Chippy is probably wondering just how far a drop down to the top of that feeder it is - THEN, what he will do to grab some food SOMEHOW. They are pretty good at that stuff. As for your brush tunnel, I hadn't thought about the problem you might have if you got STUCK in the tunnel or STUCK "mid-brush" if you couldn't get through.....maybe rethinking the whole thing is a good idea after all!!!
Happy Friday
Love, Sammy
We agree...we are very privileged to be a part of blogging, and are very thankful for each of our friends, like you. xo
That chipmunk was very cheeky.
And we all love and appreciate you and your mom Katie. That chippie is so cute. I can't wait for the chippie at our house to come out of hiding. We haven't seen him yet this year and we hope he hasn't packed his little bags and moved.
That chipmunk is brazen! He needs someone to teach him a lesson....
Love and licks,
Cupcake

(Substantial kitty, hee hee, that's exactly what daddy calls Glitter! She's the heaviest, but not overweight, just built different.)

Dearest Katie Isabella,
WOW, that picture of the chipmunk was a great one and sure a quick action as those critters never move sluggish.
Our Spooky is a lot better and we do hope he completely heals and gets to good health. It is raining and very cool so all our kitties are lounging on a soft blankie or on a bed... Can't blame them! But I have to finish scanning the 2nd half now.
Hugs,
Mariette
