I haven't come into my play room
Now that the boy scared and infuriated me at the v-e-t office, I am no longer the perfect little girl to take. Till then, mom would pick me up and put me in and I said nothing. So far I still say nothing but I do struggle. When we get there, I growl and hiss which I never ever did before. Even when I haven't and won't see that boy again. The damage is done and mom said she is still torqued about it. A perfectly happy little girl till then.
Meanwhile I am going. What a thing to happen on MY day!!! It's Tuxie Tuesday and I gotta go to the v-e-t!

We hope that the v-e-t will be less traumatic for you this time. Hopefully they can work on making it more pleasant for you so that you eventually won't be so upset about being there. None of us like going to the v-e-t -- okay, maybe Newton, but he's kind of weird and doesn't count -- but having OK associations with it over time certainly helps.
Also, a lot of vets are getting big pushes in professional literature aimed at them about being more welcoming to cats. Maybe your peep could ask the vet for ideas about making the visits easier on you, too.
Oh sweet Katie, we are so sorry you had a bad experience at the vets. You never have to see that mean boy again. Our mama would have had a 'hissy fit' if something like that happened to us.

I'm sorry you hadded to go to the v-e-t, and I am sorry you are scared now, but I am always in favor of growling and hissing at those ebil people there who commit all sorts of atrocious indignities upon our persons. Still I am sorry you were stressed out--the only consolation is that you prolly made them stressed out too!
I am sorry I've been a bit scarce--the Human is dripping and sneezing and coughing and generally being whiny and annoying. Do you feel well enough for me to come over there? I am really sick of the hacking and all.
Katie, last week our mom brought out the PTU's and left them open cause we were all going you know where. You can see how we handled it at our blog today. Enough said.
BTW, that tuxie magnet is pretty cool, but we hope it doesn't give anyone any ideas about carrying kitty feet around like rabbit feet.

Katie, I hope you eventually come to realize you'll never have to see that awful vet employee ever again, and going to the clinic will someday become less stressful. Although I must confess, I've never been a fan of the place myself!

Sorry you have to go to v-e-t and it's not been pleasant since the bad experience. Maybe you bring your snack and after doctor sees you, have some in there. I hope you can relate the vet to something positive.

I hope your vet visit went well, so you can get past those memories. Thank goodness our vets and techs are wonderful. I used to be a vet tech. It is important to be nice.
I'm (Knuckles) pretty good at the vet, but Bugsy used to love it, but he had a bad experience with the thermometer... some forcing was going on... and now he doesn't love it. As a consequence, HH doesn't let them take his temperature on routine visits.

Abby whispered one night before she left for the Bridge that those Vets she was going to did something she did not like at all. Abby had been very quiet, not meowing much at home, but the one time we had to take her back to the Specialist she howled her head off. It broke Momma's heart as she knew Abby did not like the Tech. Momma had one relief knowing Abby would never have to face that again. So we hope your trip to the Vet was without any discomfort to you.

I hope this visit to the Vet goes much better than the previous one. Fortunately for us, Gracie & Millie only have to go once a year (knock on wood). Since there are two of us, we can trim their nails once a year.
The Tuxie magnet is very cute. I wish we could get magnets that resemble Gracie & Millie.
