Kitties, I lost a lot of followers now that Google did what they did with comments and friends. *sad ears* I wish that were not so because I don't know which ones so I can go see them anyway.
I am snoopervising from the heat vent. We are waiting on a friend of Mom's to get here shortly. I'm just resting up waiting.
Mom posted a video to Face Book at least. Now, I had the guiding paw of someone else with a MAC who tried to help me do a video on the blog, but when I tried to upload a video from my phone to here as was indicated to do...I got a message saying I could not. So Katie went to Face Book and tried there. I did use the video icon here on blogger..it gave me a choice of uploading from the phone and when I tried, it was as I mentioned a total no from Google. Oner kitty said my iPhone 5 may be too old?
I'm fixing to get an iPhone 6s.
We had a day to love yesterday. 64 degrees where I happen to live. I think the nearest big city got to 62. Today is supposed to be warmer and if so, I will be at the front door again looking out and guarding against peeing Gingers! I hope there are sunpuddles as there were yesterday. So far, it doesn't look good.
All of your Sunday Selfies are fabulous.

Thankful Thursday
Kitties, sorry to get mushy again but I am thankful for my mom.
She treats me so lovingly when she is at home that all I have to do is see her approaching and I begin purring. If she reaches where I am and starts leaning forward, I purr harder and harder. I so love when she kisses my soft cheek over and over at least four times. I close my eyes, my whole Katie body is like water flowing I am so relaxed just from her being there.
Since I came to be with Mommy, I have had nothing but love in my home. Yes, she has spoken loudly to me on occasions when I claw where I am not supposed to. That's when I hear that word "No"!
I always look very tiny when she does that and I make a tiny sound that makes mom feel terrible. BUT I stop the clawing. That hardly happens and even though it does. I love mom with all my heart. Just saying'.

Sleeping in Other Places! Too Bad Mommy.
Well, I have taken to sleeping on the other side of mommy. Actually filling MY side of the bed. I won't lay up against her chest the way I did for so long. OR, I head on down to her feet. Then back to her back where I do put my feets against her through the blanket on the bed. Don't know why I am not snuggling. It's cold. Sometimes I do try to get her off to sleep laying up against her chest for a couple of minutes. I purr really hard and I'll wash her fingers when they stray near my mouth in the dark as she's petting me. Then it's up UP and AWAAAAAAAY!
I did my thing this morning. She fed me my favorite wet food and my usual dry and fresh water. I ate half the wet and then, what else...I went into the living room and horked on the couch arm, all down the couch arm to cover the fabric to the floor, onto the pretty wooden end table and the finally,
the carpet.
Of course this required her placing the big table lamp on the sofa and moving the table out and start cleaning. THEN she got to go pour her coffee. Usually I do all this just as she pours. She got a break from that part today.
Soon we'll be headed on in to bed but I will walk around her head a few times, flop in the half moon area she carves out for me while she is on her side and then, lights out and off I go. I'm busy. Places to go, Kitties to see. I think Dai$y may come over and we will pool our resources and get some beautiful necklaces.
So, I'm not sure which mancat I will see first tonight.

Thankful Tuesday wif Loves to you Kitties and Woofies
Kitties, Woofies, thank you so much for your dear wishes that I have a happy Gotcha Day last week. I sure did with your friendship and loves to help me celebrate.
Our parents are always as grateful to have us as we are grateful to have them. It made me feel so happy to see those wonderful acknowledgements of my special day. I used King Spitty's creation of the Coronation Crown he fashioned for me and crowned me with when he made me Queen of Tennessee and All Neighboring Lands. Ah, those were the days. Where are the viceroys now I wonder?
It is snowing today. As we live atop a hill, mom is usually not very brave about going down the hill in ice and snow unless an emergency occurs. Once she tells me, when the snow was deep and still falling Admiral needed the Vet immediately. The clinic that Admiral went to was closed unbeknownst to Mom due to the snow storm--- only the Vet was still there at the clinic and he answered the phone himself when mom called. He told mom he would stay if she could come on down right away. When it comes to one of us, our mom's will do anything to help us so off she went. If you saw the hill all the way down to the main street that we live on, you'd understand but Admiral needed her doctor, so she went.
I am going from one heat blowy thing to another these past several weeks. I am glued to the one here in this room right now as I dictate this blog.
Here is a picture of very surprised me when I woke to snow this very morning. I'm sorry my furs are in disarray.

OH MY! MY MY MY!
Kitties! Woofies! It was horrible! It was terrible! It was an invasion! It's war! It's an introoder invasion!
That beautiful (I will have to give credit where it's due) Tabby was out there in the next yard sitting on their terracing early this morning. The one that Mom saw a few week ago walking next to her car. He was golden in color and had those peculiar chocolate brown target shaped markings on his body. He was glorious looking but though I had to admit his handsomeness I had a conniption fit when I saw him.
I had asked everybody here on the CB what kind of kitty he was with those new-to-me-markings. Some of you said a tabby but I forget what the pattern is called.
Mom took pictures of him sitting over next door, but she had to take it through the window and the screen so it's not good at all. She used the long lens to bring him closer so to speak in an attempt to get a picture. But it isn't a good indicator of what he looks like and mom said dang! Cause he is gorgeous. BUT he is an introoder! Now Ginger, on the other paw, peed all over my house! He did. Mom saw the pee marks along the side of the house. I asked Flynn to come over and talk to him and he agreed to do so. So no more pee from Ginger I don't think. Mom didn't see any at least. One Ginger talking to another always works.
Here is his picture but through the dirty screen!
pee ess! Kitties! I am in PhotoBooth of Catster Magazine! I am. YEA!

My Gotcha Day!
Kitties, today is my Gotcha Day. This day will start the fifth year that I have been home with my mommy. I didn't dream I would have a home of my own with loving brothers who visit and a momma. I was in a little cage in back of a Vet Hospital with four other kitties who were in varying stages of getting used to humans. I had a huge leap up in that department. How does mom know? Because while she was there to get Admiral's precious paw print, they brought me out to see her while she waited for the paw print. I was all over her. Under her shirt, kneading her arms, her face, her chest, squirming to get closer..loving the warmth she represented and my purr was as loud as a motorcycle engine she swears.
Though Admiral had only been gone five weeks, she fell helplessly in love with me. She took the weekend to think about it and came back to get me on a Monday morning. That next day I wrote my first blog.
Mommy had been visiting all Admiral's friends out of loneliness for Admiral and because it was a thread going back to Admiral. She didn't want to let that go. It comforted her. They have now become my friends as well. She kept saying how kissable all the furriends are and how she wished she could hold them. The other pawrents told her not to feel badly if she wanted another kitty but mom was firm about not doing that. She did not want to go though the horrible burning pain of losing another cherished family member all over again. Then she met me. It was all over but the shouting for her.
I came home..cased the place from one spot on the sofa all day. I only rose to eat and I never used the box though I went to it. Mom gave up waiting on me to go to the box and went to bed. Next thing she knew, I was stretched out full length about a yard long it felt like!! along side my new mommy in the middle of the night. Glued as tightly to her as I could get. It's been that way ever since.
Thank you Mommy.
