Response to a Good Comment

**** Kitties!  Mom is going to handle this one.  I'll just take the time to turn over the trash again.  Just did so again right under her feet  (the desk has a can under it) not five minutes ago!  ****

Darla made a comment that mom and I read this morning.  It's always great when cat moms agree as most of us all do here on the CB.

She mentioned an experience she had with her two cats at a Vet office.  Very interesting, as I have been through it quite a bit myself where we are going now.  She mentioned that a Vet office she was going to didn't seem to have the same Vet there very often...that they seemed to have a turnover most times.  Well, I commented on that very thing to my own Vet office.  I was trying to make an appointment, and once again they said the Vet wasn't there any longer.  I said "Every time I come in here, the roster has changed."  They made some comment about how that happens sometimes.  I started there four years ago and the Vet turnover is remarkable.

When Katie had her senior exam last of April, the tech came out with a list of services and charges that, as I wrote back then in this blog, were over $800.00.  I told her a blood test, urinalysis and standard exam should not be the amount they charged.  I told her that I save receipts and they too can look and see what the charges have been, though they too were high.  They have risen astronomically this year. I  said I would not pay that fee, so I would take her elsewhere.  They started marking off superfluous charges then, and came back with $500.00.  She had already been drugged by them, (I hate that!)  so I allowed the exam and charges.  Nothing else but standard was allowed by me.

They also never said a word over time about the weight Katie lost.  And when there was only 1 month between the senior exam and me coming in for her nail trim, it showed she was supposed to have lost yet another pound, in just a month... I asked how that could happen when she was eating so extremely well.  No reply.

So, I am starting the process of going to another Vet, asking if they scruff, and how they handle frightened cats.

Just venting here.

Still lovin' Fishy

Kitties!  I am still loving my new fishy.  Mom takes it up every night and puts it out late morning.  I am all over it then.  But when she left it out for 24 hrs...I was all OFF it!  Mom learned a lesson.

Mom said to tell any interested kitties that the vet should not have told mom my hyperthyroidism had advanced.  Mom compared tests from last year's exam with this year's, and I am right where I was then...High normal.  KD is definitely there.  Stage 2 as I told you.

Mom and I got loving good advice from two bloggers.  They put mom and me on a better track.  They helped us and where the vet didn't tell us any of this.  The laxative was the single best help.  I needed that badly.  I am only needing a dose maybe every 10 days now.  I am eating well especially after the laxitive dosing,  since the two CB bloggers who helped us gave excellent advice.  Mom has given over and gotten me the F.F. wet I really really want most...even though she was concerned it may be too rich...because of my kidney disease.  By the way, I tried and LOVED the KD prescription kibble.  LOVED it.  But, I threw it back up within minutes.  So mom gave up after repeats.

Lovin' on my Fishy

Loving on fishy here too.

Hello efurrybuddy.  I am about to make Mom give me the brushies I deserve.  But if she can, she said she will try to help me with post this first.  Just a few things that made me and she laff and snort.  (she snorted, I laffed...in case you were wondering. I am NEVER unladylike!)

I am joining the blog hop on Comedy Plus for the first time.

Look What I Have!

Kitties, once again poor pitiful mom will try to show you a video of my new toy!  I got it from Etsy and it came in the mail today.  It was a little pricey but worth it.  As soon as Mom put it out for me. I was all over it like a birdie on a June bug!  It's a 6" fishy kicker.  I didn't kick it though...I was licking the gray off his crocheted scales, and I was drunk with catnip, honeysuckle, and silvervine.

When it got here today, Mom opened it and the smell was in two rooms strongly very very quickly.  I was in my room sleeping, she had just seen me...and I rose up quickly and hurried in to see what was so delicious and tempting.  I was not disappointed.  Ooh la laaaa.   Mom took several videos.  Also below are the particulars of Mom's gift to me.  Mom posted the video right below the blog on a separate entry.

Here he is...about 6"

Selfie Sunday

My goodness,  Kitties!  Mom was out gathering fuds for me and for her! I didn't think she would ever get back!  So I am late.  Mom has to brush me still .   I'll make her use the Zoom Groom.

She has her usual fixation on my feets and my monorailing skills.  She can't seem to help herself.  There I was while she watched a zillion Twilight Zones in a row...trying to nap.  Here she comes!  Of course she kept an eye on the TV screen too.  I fuss with her when she does that.  I want her eyes only on me.

I had a dangle going on while I monorailed.
Earlier, she barged into my room while I was taking an accounting on how many birdies were out there, and here she comes!  With the phone flashy box!

I MAY have drifted off

One counts birdies till one is exhausted. Zzzzzzz
