Resting my Little Headie

Kitties, this is not the same picture of me hugging my post that I told momma to post a week or so ago.  Mommy took this late this afternoon of me resting with my cheek resting against the soft carpeted post.

I'm exhausted watching mom burn mental rubber learning, or trying to, all the vagaries of the car she just bought.  She did get the phone paired up with it so that's good.  (and a miracle). Her next trick is to try yet again to get the trip meters aworkin'.  She gnashes her teefs and says dagnabbit and Dadgummit and all those cuss words.  Consarn it. She looks at videos on UTube, she even reads the manual.  That is burning rubber from her mental wheels turning you smell.  She found the trip meter to consistently get the best of her.  Poor mom.

  3. Katie, I like these pictures of you resting your headie.

The lady dreads getting a new car. She doesn't want a "smart" car. It sounds like your mom is doing well. Congrats to her for her new car and for her patience!

  4. You look so cute! We didn't hear our mom yell and scream when she set up her new car because she was outside. The neighbors may have heard her, though!

  8. #1 says those manuals might as well be written in Martian, for all the sense they make sometimes.

  9. Looks like you're all exhausted just watching her!

Leo says: Katie sweet, that does not look comfy enough to rest your pretty head on. Perhaps I should pop over and give you my very soft tummy as a fuzzy pillow? I'll even purr for you! That will drown out all those Disney channel words! hee hee

  10. KI, you tell your mom to hop in that car and drive right back to the dealership. They are supposed to demonstrate ALL the features of the car AND answer ALL of her questions. That is the salesman's job!!!! Buying a car isn't supposed to be a job. SELLING the car is a job!

    Love and hugs,

  11. That can be totally exhausting watching our humans try to use their tiny little minds. At least she tore herself away from all that attempt at learning to take this super cute photo of you! 13. Humans are very wearisome sometimes, Katie. My mum says that her phone and car used to connect via bluetooth very well, but it doesn't anymore!! xx

I know plenty of things I wouldn't think of saying around you and/or your mom. :-)

  15. Katie, you are so precious! We hope your mom gets her car stuffs figured out. Our daddy got a new car last weekend too but the dealer gave him an hour long lesson on all its stuffs. Your mom should go right back to that dealer and make them show her all those stuffs!

  18. Maybe your mom could go back to the dealership where she bought the car and aske the salesman to show her how all the different stuff works. When the mom bought a new car, the salesperson paired up her phone and showed her how other stuff worked.

  19. You're so adorable cuddling with the post like that. How does your human ever get anything done when she sees you doing that? The head peep would have to drop everything and smooch you!

  20. You are smart Katie.....tell mom to throw the book away, call the deLership collect so they've to pay for the call. Then ask them to tell you how to do it!. M gets so angry at those instruction manuals as they are written by techs for techs, who understands all that jibberish?

  23. What kind of car did Mommy get, Katie? You should probably help her with understanding it. Just because we can't drive doesn't mean we can't 'splain things to the Humans. Mine still hasn't looked up how to reset the clock in 2016 Civic, so she just spent all last winter mentally adding an hour to the time. Go figure.

  24. TBT has a 12 year old car (with only 25K miles belief it or not). And he says he plans to keep it until it dies. The new ones have too much "innernet stuff" in them.

  25. Geesh, your description of her mental rubber burning made our Mom's head feel all wonky, too!

  26. We admire your Mom for reading the dreaded manual... not many people do! We hope she's done soon, sweetie. You look like you need a little loving attention.

  28. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Hope you do no longer need to suffer from observing your sweet human Mom struggling to get on top of her new 'toys'.
It can be mind boggling, I know and we have to be mentally fit for tackling that. Not all days are equal...
    Hugs and happy weekend.
