I Own All, I Make the Decisions

Well, all parts of the bed are mine,  and just because this is where she wants to be at night...well...if I get there first, this side is mine as is the pillow.

If the sheets are newly changed that day, and newly turned down to receive ME, then I am there to enjoy the cool fresh percale.  It's all for me, right? if I am correct and usually I am.

Picture me up there on the pillow about 1130 at night..taking up a third of it, and picture me on it facing downward and my head and shoulder is even with her head and shoulder.  The purring just enchants her as it is right against her head; tis true,  If I am sitting in a catloaf position, sometimes my right front leg and paw slips downward and truly...honestly, coincidentally,  my paw  slips right into her ear.  I let it stay about 45 seconds and take it out but it slips back in.  After a minute, mom turns her head sideways to get her ear clear of soft snowy paws. Then she falls fast asleep.

Just my Katie on the Spot service, Ma'am.  No charge. You're family.

  4. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Very, very true and changing bed linens is ONLY done for pleasing our feline babies. They all love it and take right away possession.
Yes, our Barty-boy who turned 13 in March, has been claiming HIS pillow, the European square down pillow that lies below (half) my regular pillow. He too cuddles my head and sometimes, when I'm really tired, he gives me free acupuncture and he loudly purrs... But it makes us all feel so loved, so cuddled and special.
    Hugs and happy weekend!

  7. I haven't been allowed on the bed since the morning they woke up to a bed full of litter. I have no clue how it all got there, since there was none on my paws when I woke. Dad must've been sleepwalking and stepped through the litterbox, right? Happy Earth Day all!!

  13. You have done a good job of training your human Katie. And to think you never seem to have to retrain her like I do with my two humans. M takes up 3/4's of hte bed and I only get a little piece. Not fair I tell her, but she says she is bigger than I am - therefore she needs more roon. Please come over here and work on M for me - she's a losing case!

  16. Oh, my. Katie, you are something else. Chloe Jo is our Boss Lady. You would think it was Maggie, but it is Chloe Jo. Maggie sleeps ON me, all 18 lbs. Bless her heart...Really! Chloe Jo sleeps on my head, literally. I love that BabyCat. She knows it.

  17. Well of course everything belongs to you, Katie! It's YOUR house, right? I'm glad you let your mom share it with you, but you are the queen of the roost!

Leo says: When my mommy's home, I make sure to lay on her and use my loudest purr! Daddy only gets the quiet purr occasionally. Sounds like you got the good big purr out for your mom! But I think we should do a purr check.. I'll come over and share that nice big bed with you and we'll purr on each other and see who's louder, k?

  22. Of course you should have the choice of whichever part of the bed you want. I hope your mom appreciates the soft paw in her ear as much as she should do.
