Oh KITTIES! Look Who Mom Found!!!!

Kitties!  Mom was looking through a deep shallow kitchen drawer for a so-called fabric shaver to shave off places where she SAYS I clawed up the fleece blankie on her bed.  (Our bed!) { I say SHE did it and is blaming me} and at the very back, against the backboard was: NEW DONKEY!  She did not remember at all that she had managed to get the last two Donkeys there at the Donkey farm!  She thought she had an extra Lion.  But it's Donkey's long long LONG lost brofur!  He was in a plastic storage bag.  Look at Donkey and brother!  Biggafy to see how brave Donkey is and has been.

Loved-on  Donkey has elongated arms and legs from all the strong lovins I give him.  And he is much thinner too from having had surgery on his poor back so many times.  He isn't ready for the Rest Home yet though.  Plenty of lovins left there.  Mom said she's not sure if she should substitute my spiffy brofur occasionally or not to get me accustomed to him.

I just wanted to share my great unexpected and furry welcome news. 💗

  7. I think a few rounds with the new donkey would be a good idea. You want him to smell familiar. (Keep an eye out for the claw trimmers!)

  8. Oh you lucky girl! New donkey looks pretty pristine...we bet he'd lub some lubbings too.

  9. OMC, what GREAT news! I can see how much weight old Donkey has lost in his old age. Maybe your human can rub them together so they trade scents... just like people do with two kitties when one has to go to the vet.

  13. Um, you know in some states you could get jail time for Donkey Abuse, darling Katie. If I were New Donkey, I think I'd skedaddle to Marg's and live with her donkeys. They seem well-cared for even if they didn't win the election. Hee hee. Love is dangerous, it seems. XOXOXOXO

  14. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Wow, that was a very unexpected find! Love to see them side by side and one can tell how much loving you gave the older one.
Sending you hugs and stay warm as it is getting mean cold outside by mid week...

  16. That is wonderful news sweetie. I think mom should rub the two donkeys together and then let him nap in hte toy box until he's ready for some loving.

  18. Wow how wonderful your Donkey's brofur showed up! But he looks so fat and new -- he does need lots of your lovin' :-)

  19. WOW! That's a stroke of luck for sure! Your old donkey looks a lot like my white mousie that Angel Sammy "willed" to me when he left. I've murdered it over and over and it has patches and bandages and is skinny and sickly BUT I LOVE IT. Mom bought me new mousie but I don't like it. It doesn't remind me of Angel Sammy! Anyway, I'm glad you have double donkeys - that's a sign of good luck you know.......

    Love, Teddy

  20. Wow, a spare donkey. How lucky was that find. I's obvious that old donkey will eventually need to be retired. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  30. Ha! OMGoodness, KI! Are you sure those guys are brothers? They do not look alike at all. Original Donkey has taken a beating of love. Mom read in The Velveteen Rabbit that after a toy is loved enough it turns "real." If that book is true, your mom had better stock up on hay and carrots, because Original Donkey is about to come alive....

    Love and licks,

  33. Dude has lost two favourite toys. I am at a loss to replace them. I cannot find them anywhere. One is a narrow spring with pom-poms glued to each end. It was his first toy. Isn't that the way it goes? Hugs.

  34. Katie, you will never be short of a donkey now! But you need to put the luvvins on new upstart donkey so that original donkey doesn't feel alone in his dishevelment! xxx
