Donkey? Where Are You?

Kitties!  We lost Donkey for two days.  Mom helped me look for him and she finally found him.  She had raked under furniture and got a bunch of whapped stuffs but no Donkey, and it was sad not to have Donkey in the bedroom when she woke up.  Fat pink Mousie and floppy Mousie were there though.

This morning as she was vacuuming, she saw Donkey had been carried into the computer room and tucked under the nip candy cane.  That must have happened when she headed out yesterday for a lot of time.  I usually run wild through the house and rearrange my toys into different rooms.  But my favorite ones, the quadrumvirate of Donkey, Floppy Mousie, Fat Pink Mousie and Floppy Duckie remain steady in the living room till I take them in to the bedroom.

May it never happen again.  Got my furs standing on end.

Oh, and Joey's mommy posted a comment of thanks to all of you in the blog with his story.

No Fat Pink Mousie here.  So a Triumvirate!  Donkey looks rode hard and put up wet.

Also, that is really a terrifying story about Donkey. Where do you think he ran off to? I bet he had some kind of adventure that he's keeping to himself. Love you XOXOXOOX

It's lucky he didn't get vacuumed up by the Sucky Monster by mistake! What a frightening thought!

  17. That was a close one, Katie! We're glad Donkey was finally found.

Our mom says she's sorry she didn't get to you last week, she was just so busy trying to fix a site for a client that all she had time for was to stress more. We posted a reply to one of your comments, though. Was that it?

  18. You know Katie, we hardly ever play with toys. Saku prefers hair elastics or brown paper, Sasha will chase a nip mouse once a day or so, and Sami will bring toys to mom but not play with them. We all like the nip chirpy mouse mom bean tied to the end of a wand toy though...but only when mom plays with us.

Glad that your mom found Donkey. Have fun!

  21. Yes, Donkey looks somewhat bedraggled there. Maybe he needs a little grooming before any more play-time, the poor fellow.
