Maybe it's Cold.

Maybe I am spending all my time in my beddie because it's cold..  I also am on patrol mom noticed.  Happens every winter.  A mousie gets in and I have to find it and bring it to mom.  But it's hard work waiting there poised for many of my waking moments--- which aren't too many.

To Eileen,  mom to Sasha, Sami, & Saku, I can no longer access your blog.  I love seeing what Sasha, Say and Saku  said in my last blog and the one before that, but I am completely unable to access yours.  It says it is "not available".   Wanted you to know that.

Mom has been busier than her normal busy--- which is pretty busy! I hope things get calmer around here soon.  If not, I might move to Wales!  If I do, Donkey comes too.  I will meow at CatAir and see what the cost of passage is for the two of us.  I could go in my tunnel but it does get drafty.  There is a dapper Mancat there who should wear and MAY have a monocle and top hat tucked away somewhere from all the formal occasions he attends throughout his Land! We both wear Tuxedos, so we will be well dressed regardless of our outerwear.

Here's hoping....

  1. Mousies get in here too when the weather gets cold! The humans have a live trap set and they get them before we do, though.

  3. Oh Miss Katie, you and donkey will be made very welcome. Of the busyness of humans there is no end it seems! We can snuggle and smooch and eat some nip confections and play with Groovy Gecko and roll in the nip - which I accidentally spilled!!! It will be very cosy. I have alerted Catair and they have saved you a seat in first class! AND Donkey has a seat too all to himself! I will be waiting for you at Porthaethwy awyrborth with my best tux, monocle and red bow tie! Smoochies and kisses, ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  5. So far (knock on wood), we have only had mice on the patio (and in the plants and back yard, too), and not in the house. We see chipmunks more often, though.
Will you be the Queen of Wales? :-)

  10. Katie, if you move to Wales you will be closer for me to visit! We don't get any mice come indoors. I catch them in the garden before they have chance to try and move in.

  16. Katie, Wales is far far away. It is cold there, too. Maybe you should think about Mexico or the South Sea Islands. Youcould lie around in the sun, drinking iced tea.
By the way, there are lots of ways of phodographing endangered species, and Jakey will give a tutorial on Pizap this Monday, at Dory's Back Yard.

  17. Oh Katie - you wouldn't desert all of your fans HERE to visit Austin would you? I'm sure he'd LOVE to see you but gosh....your Mom would miss you a lot and even though you'd take donkey, what about your other treasures????? Think about it!

  18. OMG, KI. Mom and I are excited, surprised, horrified, and impressed that you can catch an unwelcome mouse. You're a brilliant kitty genius. Plus you are Batman! Once there was a spider in my house and I jumped up and down like a popcorn. Mom said, "Thanks for nuthin'." and "I guess I'm on my own here." Then she killed it.

    Love and licks,

  21. It is 1° here today. Our cats are all in hibernation mode. The dogs hurry when outside. It is cold. Stay warm and safe. ❤

  22. Brrrrr..... you can't be too much warmer than we are. Our Mom was out feeding the strays in 11 degrees this morning. In shorts! That mousie must be hiding some place where it's warm.

  23. There's only one place Bear would be if he saw a mouse ... and that's under the bed (unless the mouse was there too).

  25. We don't have an awesome mouse catcher like you here we have to use mouse traps that break their necks to get rid of them, is it cold in Wales, I don't know as I know nothing about Wales, New South Wales I know about but not plain old Wales

  26. Hi Katie. Mom bean says this is the link to our blog http://ourkittykorner.blogspot.ca/

Unfortunately she had some issues with her own blog which meant that she had to stop posting there. But she thought our blog was working okay. Can you try again and see if it works? If not, she may have to start another blog for all of our furriends 'cuz we'd be furry sad if you can't come and visit.

Stay warm Katie and mom. We sure you find that mousie!

  37. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, you are not the only one loving their beddie!
Here the beddies get rather furry and crowded but that's all right for the miserable cold weather. Gee, even snow was attempting to cover up but it did not stick in the weekend.
I've not received a mousie for quite a while. They bring them inside as they have sat there in the wood garden for hours catching one. But now it makes their butt freeze off so the mousies get spared!
    Hugs,
    Mariette
