Back in the "saddle" Again.

Kitties and Woofies,  Mom has tried to make my beddie as appealing as possible.  She did all she could think of to get me to use it along with all the other places I use.  But my answer was always "no".    This morning she was looking for me and failed to find me.  She wondered if I had slipped into a closet again.  Then, by chance she saw me sound asleep in my comfortable beddie.

She took this picture--- which made me crack open an eye to tell her that she had half a dozen like it for pete sake!   I also tried out the bedspread she put on yesterday and the pillow shams.  I rolled around and dove in everywhere till they were thoroughly messed up.  That is my job. I take pride in my work.

By the way, mom finally has new glasses, so her typos which grew storied in their frequency and content have lessened quite a bit.  She told me it is amazing how things change when you can see what you're doing at the computer.  However she still makes them, but no longer has any excuse to hang her hat on now that she can see better.  Me?  My claws keep getting stuck between keys.

No mancats allowed in  to read this next part.  LEAVE!  That is my Queenly command.  Are you gone?  OK.

Ladycats, mom noticed that after I leave my box, at times...not all the time, maybe a total of four times have I leave either a nickel sized drop o' peepee on the kitchen floor, or one the size of a silver dollar.  All in line with my path from the box. Sometimes I take off quickly out of the box just for fun.  I have done that for years.  This peepee spot happens when I leave..not before I get in.  I am doing otherwise well, I'm playful, I eat normally and have my usual 2-3 clumps per day...added to the fact that I have a wet cold nosie.  I don't have a sickie, and I don't do this all the time.  Mom and I wonder, can a lady cat dribble?  Sometimes?

No boycats need read this, now. 🙀

  1. we suspect girl cats can do that, though your mom may want to mention it to the (v-e-t) just in case

  3. Your bed looks comfy. Maybe you could ask your mom to put a little catnip i it. My kitty-brother Hazuzu likes to sleep in closets or even dresser drawers if he can find an open one. And I didn't read the last part of your post...

  4. Oh Katie, you do look so comfy in that bed. All of us cats here are just the same. You just never know where we are going to sleep. Don't know about the extra pee coming out of the box. Have a great day.

  8. Buster leaves a little something just outside the litterbox sometimes when he's in a hurry to check out what Emma is doing.

  10. Maybe you get in too big of a hurry when you leave the litter box?

Your mommy might want to mention your dribbles to the vet.

  12. ::shh:: If it happens sometimes to our moms, I'm guessing it could happen to us, too.

  13. That's a very comfy bed, Katie. We can see why you like it so much. We don't know why you are doing what you're doing when you come out of the box...but maybe your mom could mention it to your vet next time you're there.

  14. You look SO comfy in that bed, Katie! I don't know about the dribbling - sometimes my human checks my pantaloons after I'm done and we're going off somewhere, and there are a few drops left on my fur.

  16. If little leaks can happen to lady women, they most probably can happen with lady cats too. We aren't built all that different in that department - especially if you get in a hurry.

    1. M was thinking the same thing. Sometime humoms don't empty all the way or get in a hurry. We agree with mentioning it to your Dr. person.

  17. Your little bed is a perfect fit, KI. As a doggie, all pee must be completed OUTSIDE. Cold, hot, icy, rainy, snowy, windy, scary pumpkins - no matter - I'm outside. #imnohelp

  18. Katie I think you probably have secretly liked that bed for a long time and are just now allowing your Mom to see that! It looks comfy. I didn't read that last bit you didn't want boys to read but my Mom read it and said to tell you that she thinks you are just FINE and maybe just in a big hurry to leave the area before you're truly "finished" !!!

  19. Katie, we think you look cute as a button in your beddie. Comfortable and cozy, too! :)

    Hugs to you and Mommy!

  20. My guess is that she is just trying to get away from her used box. Some cats are more sensitive to the mess and odor. It sounds like Miss Katie is, too. ❤🐱

  21. You look very cute in your bed!

I am farsighted, but it is easily corrected with non-prescription reading glasses. My distance vision is excellent.

  22. sorry it took so long to get here- when she left a tiny puddle in the bathtub that is the universal sign for feline urinary infection. Most likely caused by stress...
As far as this dribbling I would put it together with the "way" she pees straight out and say it is internal from birth-where stuff is situated in there.

  23. You look adorable in your bed, Katie! And so very comfy. I don't know about the little dribbles, but I would mention it to the vet. It sounds like if you're in a hurry, maybe you don't quite finish before you want to get out?

  24. Me and mum lolled at Flynnetta!!! I think you look like you would accept some company in your beddie!! But you sure look furry cute!!

I did not DID NOT read on into the embargoed paragraph!! But my sister Austina did like Flynnetta and she won't talk to me about it at all! Her whiskers are sealed! However she mentioned in passing that you can get puppies on a roll from Andrex!!!?!? I have no idea what she means! ;-)❤️❤️❤️

  25. Awww how nice you decided to use that beddie. You sure look super comfortable, Katie san!
Niko sometimes leaves dribbles on the way from litter box, too. Oh and don't worry, I didn't let my boys read that part :-)

  26. My first thought when I saw the title of this post was, you ride, how exciting, then I thought don't be silly cats don't ride horses or motorbikes, motorbikes have saddles right anyway this has nothing to do with you riding something so I should just sneeze, done, and leave, doing that now

  27. Sweetie, you are so cute in your new/old beddie. Maybe now you will take a liking to it. I sleep all over the place - sometimes with, sometimes with D, sometimes in the livingroom on a chair, wherever I happen to feel like sleeping. M here - I wouldn't let Mario read the last part, so he can't answer it either. I would for sure keep an eye on it. Someone above said it might be the sign of a uti, so maybe a trip to the dreaded vet would be in order.
