Caturday

Kitties!  Brother got here yesterday afternoon,  He is watching the football game with us and then he will return to his place.  He ate pizza just before the game started.  The delicious aroma brought me out. BUT I did not get a taste!

It is cold cold cold out there and I think mom said it was about 49 when she started her walkie.  She said she had no one with her and I think she did not,  My nose was free of anyone else's  fur scent.

She's been cleaning house like mad all day when she was here.  I'm just going to bring it back to the way it was except the tub and other bathroom things she cleaned, so, I asked her...why do you bother mom?  I think she is eventually going to her wooden floor as I am really ruining the carpet in the living room.

That's the breaks mom.

  1. Sounds like the Mom has been very busy. Not to worry, all of us cats have ruined the carpet too. It is just so easy to do. You all have a great day.

  2. How come your human doesn't realize that cat fur is a style statement?

  3. Sighs. Once again, the total ingratitude.

  4. That is nice that you saw your brother, but he could have offered you some of his pizza.

  6. Oh pizza is such a good thing Katie, we are sorry you only got a sniff. So glad you got to visit with your brother!

  7. Your mom should consider your fur as a decoration, Katie.

  8. I got a small lick of tomato stuff on a pizza ONCE but beware of those meaty things Mom calls sausage....some of it's just too spicy for our tummies! I think cat food is better (just doesn't smell as good as pizza!). Rugs? Aren't rugs and carpeting just BIG scratching posts????

  9. Wood floors are very nice. We are on our third couch here. A cat has to do what a cat has to do! We are glad you enjoyed you brother even though he didn't share the pizza.

  10. What's with the humans and their "cleaning frenzies?" Cat fur is beautiful. Why can't it be on the rugs and furniture? Silly humans.

  12. I'm pretty sure pizza is my favorite food. I have never had a slice to myself, but sometimes Mom shares the edges with me. A word about the wood floors. I'm not sure about kitties, but as a doggie, I will let you know if you run fast enough, jump high enough, and slide hard enough, wood floors can also be ruined. I am very proud of my work in that department. Plus Mom says it looks like a mountain lion lives here. You're welcome...

    Love and licks,

  13. Glad you got to visit your brother, sorry he wouldn't share his pizza though. We have all wood floors and a braided rug. Lucy used to damage the edges of the braided one so I had to remove a few rows the braiding. That is not cold, it has gotten as low as 22 so far this Fall.

  14. We never gets pizza either Katie!

Did you know we're having the warms here. Yesterday it got up to 68F (18C) so we got to use our sunny room. Mom bean says it won't be quite that warm today but we'll still get out there. Since we'd usually have freezing temps and snow by now we're furry happy (no more than mom).

  17. How great your brother came to see you!
Maybe your mom cleans so that you can fur up the place again...like she brings a plain piece of paper so you can sketch new art :-)

  21. Pizza usually contains ingredients that are bad for kitties, so no pizza for kitties!

  22. Wooden floors are a good idea with lots of rugs and stuffs. Easier to clean from furs and the occasional hair ball. Furry nice of brother to visit but he should have offered you chicken pizza. -Bear who likes wooden floors and chicken pizza.

  23. Um, what does this mean you "did not get a taste." That does not compute! The Kitty *ALWAYS* gets a taste--it's a law or sumfing!

I think you better come over here for awhile. XOXOXOX

  24. Katie! A few of us here are wrecking the carpet too! It makes our mom very cross.

  25. M likes it spic-and-span too but, like you dear Katie, we do our best to return furs to the carpet. We also like to drop food on the floor, outside of the mats designed to catch our errant noms. They never stay mad though. MOL!

  26. That sounds like our Mom, always cleaning this and that. We tell her, "Mom, you got like elebenty million cats here. Sit. Take a load off." And then she sees another speck of dust and she starts cleaning all over again. Moms, who can figure them out?

  27. Katie, you hafs to ease up on the carpet. My Mommy says it was such pretty carpet when she sawed it.
