Mommy Said Grrrrr

Kitties, I sat-laid on mommy's head and pillow last night.  I washed her hair for her.  For some reason that surpasses anything I have ever learned, she did NOT like that service!  She weakly tried to shove me off!  OFF!  Of course, I didn't budge, being as dedicated as I am to the shampoo for mom.  I resumed washing  She tried to cover her head but the sheet didn't go quite go up over.  She has this system of pillows that she uses for her legs and under knees area so she didn't want to slide down and wake up more trying to readjust them.

Personally?  I think she was insulting in rebuffing my best effort.

I may advertise for another mommy!

  1. Imagine! Your mum not liking your free hair washing?
WE think she should appreciate that that will be one chore she will not have to do herself!

  5. LOL Katie san, your mom was just playing, obviously. Of course she loves it when you wash her hair! So keep on going, give her nice long bath :-) :-)

  7. Katie I think when one's best intentions are spurned like that, there is nothing for it but to advertise for a more convivial companion!! My human is on a final warning! She is very unappreciative when I share my innermost thoughts with her at 03.30! ❤️❤️

  8. Darling, How could she be so unappreciative of our efforts? That is just unacceptable--what better stylist could there be? The Human knew a kitty named Willow who until she crossed the bridge at age 20 insisted on washing and styling the hair of every person who crossed her path. The Human always at least *pretended* to be grateful! Maybe if you did while your Mommy was more awake, she'd like it better? XOXOXO

  10. Leo says: Ooh! My mommy! If you want a new mommy you don't have to advertise, just come share mine then we can be together all the times!! Well, that may not be a good idea.. my mommy is going away and none of us know how long it will be for.. maybe I can come share your mommy instead and we can work on training her better?

  11. Oh Katie, don't advertise for another mommy. You are only half way through training this one. You wouldn't want to start all over again now would you? I'm tempted myself sometimes, but I'd not want to start all over aain. Just do something sweet again, and she'll forget all about yur shampooing her hair.

  14. Of all the nerve.

Actually, I think peeps have a thing 'bout washin' the tops of heads. My sister Tobias is ALWAYS wantin' someone to licka-da-top-o-her-head and although some of us cats sometimes oblige, the peeps flatly refuse. Guess they don't want the tops of their heads licked, either. Weird. MOUSES!

  16. Oh Katie, how could she try to push you off when you were honouring her with a special shampoo. It is very sad that your hard work was not appreciated.

  17. Katie, how could she not appreciate your services??? Humans are so ungrateful sometimes.

  18. Moms and Dads are ungrateful like that sometimes, Katie. The nerve!

  19. My human does the same thing to me when we're staying in a hotel - because that's the only time I do that.

  20. Oh, my, doesn't Mom know that kitty shampooing is the best? :-)

  21. How rude of your mom, KI. I know how you feel, though. Sometimes, when Mom laughs at me, I like to kiss her teeth. Then she does spitting and wiping and says the word "GROSS!" Don't moms know that our love knows no boundaries?

  22. Caspurr always shampoos and massages Mummy's hair. She doesn't object too strenuously though she says his raspy little tongue tickles...

  25. Katie, we don't know what to tell you. Humans are so strange with their needs and wants, and not only that, they're fickle, too! We guess you just have to put up with it.

  26. Deep down she probably enjoyed it Katie. Humans are weird that way! ;p

  27. I wash TBTs hair often. I must do a very good job, because after about 5 minutes he stops me saying "that is enough", and then he gives me scritchies. ~ MARLEY

  29. Well! I see you don't has a Pirate Post either. My stoopy Human said well, maybe we can do one later this week. As IF!!! I wanna be a Pirate when everybody else is being a Pirate. But evidently not you. Maybe Mommy is still mad about the whole hair thing?? XOXOXO

  30. Katie, our mom does not appreciate Misty May sleeping on her pillow, head and face. She doesn't wash Mom's hair (our angel sisfur Fiona did that), but she does head butt mom in her face so hard Mom's afraid she'll break her nose. The problem with getting a new mommy is that you usually end up with one rejected by another kitty. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  34. NO ONE could replace your Mommy, but that being said, I could use a "live-in stylist" and if your Mommy is willing to share you, I would hire you in a heartbeat! xoxo
