New Kitty for an old Friend.

Kitties, I know this  does not look good but I copied and pasted from Face Book.  Ann Lignon, mom to Kassey who flew to the Rainbow Bridge a year ago, texted me and said she has a new baby. Her name is Padma. That was her name when Ann got her. from the shelter.  She wanted to re-name her Lily, but Padma is the one she answers to. She is all white except for her head, and was born without  back paws. Ann took her to keep the worst from happening to her within several days. She is a foster girl (young) but Ann will keep her always until if and when she can't. I am so happy she has another sweet kitty now.

Ann said she could get up onto things pretty well right now.  I hope that continues.

I hope you like the update on one of our fellow CB pawrents who has been through a very sad time.

  1. Thank you, Carole for the update. I may not have explained well. This sweet girl was born without feet, but is adapting very well.

  27. Padma looks quite lovely. And we bet the lack of back paws won't keep her from doing anything she wants. So happy your friend Ann rescued her. Thank you for sharing her with us. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  28. Most animals adapt to unusual body problems. Pets, especially cuz they are more sheltered and fed and loved. But mostly because "whatever is, is", and we deal with it. Beins have a stronger sense of "unfairness" than we do.

  29. Dearest Carole,
Wow, Ann for sure is another ANGEL that is giving this sweet Padma, without hind legs, a chance to experience love and LIVE.
Hope things go well for her.
    Hugs,

  30. Oh, we are so happy she has another little fur baby to love! Padma is very cute and we bet she'll learn to get around fine with what she has. We greez with Mark--Kitties and other animals just deal with what comes to them--they don't worry about how things "should" be. The Humans would be soooooo much better off if they were more like us. We are very happy for her and we are CERTAIN Kassey would approve! XOXOXO

  31. I've not seen such a cat before, but of course she deserves her new loving home. It's great that her new mum rescued her from an otherwise certain fate. I love Padma's little toupee!

Oh Katie dear, we are slow! We have missed many of your posts and we feel terrible! But we are all caught up now and think it's just adorable how you take care of your mom and have your brovver trained! You are one hard working ladycat!

Leo says: Can you believe it! Mom has been keeping me from commenting! Can I make it up to you by bringing over some treats and having a snuggle? Maybe we can watch your shows together?
