What a Dinner I Did Not Get!

Mom had the total nerve to bake  some fish and to have french fries along with green beans.  Now the airs is perfumey wif fishy smells and I got N-O-N-E!  N-O-N-E!  She sat and stuffed her face till she's fuller than a tick about to bust open and fall off ta dog!

I can only say that she is always dieting it seems, poor soul, and never gets anywhere-- so tonight, she decided to eat "real" food instead of that light stuff.  No, not my Royal Canin or my Fancy Feast.  It was mom fuds from the store. She went crazy over real and filling fuds!  And offered me NONE! I hope she does bust wide open!  Well, as long as it doesn't interfere with my meals.   She'll be moaning all night  till bed time about eating too much.  Sheesh.  Insult to injury.

I think she's celebrating a good report from the cardiologist. She made him watch her in a video of 50 seconds duration,  hot foot  it around a park at an excellent pace and still able to talk ( of course!!!) (that woman can TALK!)

So that's my story.

My client has not advised me when he may be coming over again.  If he does, I admit the noms will be watched like a hawk!  I thought they were!  But he slipped past Mom and scooped up a handful on his way through to the living room.  Fifteen teefs he has made short work of MY noms!

OK.  I am all fainty from having to smell fishy foods that went down down down her stomach tube! So I will lie here, and pant to express the personal pain I am suffering from not getting any fishy.

OH!  And after two weeks of having a slight sickie, I am all betters.  I was sleeping in my PTU alla time and not watching my shows on TV or greeting mommy at the door.  I didn't stay long in the bed at night and I wouldn't play.  My poopies (don't let the boy cats see this please) were not as they should be.  Mom made an appointment and voila! I was doing so well I didn't have to go!!  But now... poopie production is up at last and I have the crazy zoomies with wild eyes and back up in the air and sideways hopping.  And I watched TV these two days and evenings and greeted mommy.  Watched my shows too.  Life is good.

  4. We agree with Brian. You really should have gotten at least a taste! Oh, and our mom always has to watch what she eats, too. This past week she decided she was beyond tired of salad!

  9. Wow, that's just mean of your mommy not to share that fish with you, Katie! We are glad you are feeling better, sweet girl. :)

  10. Your Mommy is just *asking* for it, my sweet darling! How DARE she!? You have a rightful expectation --oh, let's say 10%?-- of any food she consumes. Where does she get off not sharing? Honestly, these Humans. There's just no accounting for them. Love you my darling! XOXOXO

  11. Outrageous behavior - nommy foodables not shared? This is unacceptable! No wonder you've been feeling poorly. Lack of RESPECT can cause us to get all fainty and depressed. I do hope your Mom will FIX this situation ASAP!

    Love, Sammy

  12. The Morris cats do not like fish. Well, George likes mackerel out of a tin, if Dad eats it.They crave chicken. Grizelda loves most any any "meats", though. XO

  14. Darling Katie - you are just full of news today. we had to read it twice so we didn't miss anything. M was stuffing her face with something good the other night too and I didn't even get a chance to get up close to sniff it really well. I kept trying, but she always gently pushed me away with the "no" voice.

  15. People eat all sorts of things that kitties shouldn't have. Your food probably wouldn't be good for humans. Glad you are both feeling better!

  18. I'm sorry you didn't get any fishies, but at least your own noms are safe, for the moment! Perhaps you will get some fishy treats as an apology?
I'm sorry you weren't feeling well! But I'm glad you are better!
Leo says: I know how you feel, dearest Katie, I'm not allowed fishies of any sort and what do you think I want? That's right, fishies! What do you say we steal some snacks and hide in that new fun cave at your house and not share with anyone!

  20. I feel your pain Miss Katie! This very evening The Staff had salmon all mushed up on her plate with other stuffs and though I sat as close as I could and kissed her lots and lots, she wouldn't give me any! Not one tiny morsel!! I think our Moms have the same parsimonious parentage!! We need to protest most strongly and withhold cuddling privileges!! Really glad you are feeling more poopilicious my sweet! Smoochies ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  24. We are very happy you are feeling perky and strong, KI. What a bummer that your mom didn't share her fishies with you. My mom also didn't share her desserts with me. She claims she doesn't want me to get fat. Apparently, she doesn't have the same worry about her own dessert-eating-self!

  25. Katie, I don't like fishes much myself but am sorry you didn't get any. I am so glad you are feeling frisky. My mom says to tell your mom that the fish and green beans would be a better diet for her than any so called "diet" or "lite foods" are. If she just ate smaller portions of Real Food she would lose weight, feel better and have some left to share with you. She can even eat potatoes, just not fried and then she could share. Izzy

  27. Not even one teeny-tiny bite? MOUSES!

Now I must admit, my peeps don't offer me their food, either, but then, my peeps are veggies and therefore, what they eat is totally disgusting for the most part. I mean, tonight, 'cause today is a little cooler, Peep #1 said she was gonna make meatless meatloaf. What kind of meatloaf has no meat? I'm thinkin' she is in need of a dictionary, for sure. MOUSES!

  32. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, not getting any FISH, that is called torture!
When I do bake fish, there always is a sharing of a tiny little bite of fish for all kitties and they love me for it!
Sending you hugs and happy that you have improved so much yourself.
You can forgive your Mommy as she really had to celebrate!
