Caturday

Good Meowning Kitties and Woofies.

I am sprawled on my back.  My back feets are resting in their white socks against the door.  My head is upside down of course and mom is playing peekaboo with me as she takes my dictation. My green jewels eyes are gleaming like the gems they are.  Life is good.

Mom dared to quit typing a moment and rise from the chair here to go into the bathroom linen closet to get fresh sheets 'cause today, I get to help change sheets!  Well!  The bathroom door was put to and that means it was closed so I could not freely walk in!  She had to close the door she told me so she could open the closet door in there.  I do NOT care about her excuses.  I busted the door open and it clunked into the door jamb of the closet door.  I have NO idea why she thinks that is so funny!  But she laughed  at the two loud clunks.  I got IN.  That's the important thing.

What's Playin'  on my BirdTV just outside my room.

  5. Oh. Excellent supervisor, you are. Making the bed is very impawtant; we simply can't trust that it will be done properly without us.

  7. I hope your human didn't think that closed doors were going to keep you out! I guess that wasn't her intention anyhow, but still, if you're a kitty, a closed door is a challenge, not an absolute.

  14. You have to be able to assert yourself, KI. I am happy you are a door pusher and a problem solver. I waste a lot of time waiting for Mom to do those things for me. She tells me the word, "Toughen up."

  15. We are door busters and cabinet openers too! It is a trait much-admired by this household's felines. M tries to thwart us with baby locks and such be we're crafty and determined.

  23. We are jealous that you have hummers on your bird TV. Our humans have been trying to get them for years. They even have planted all the plants and flowers hummers like. But still no luck. Cross your paws for us that this summer will be better. Enjoy your hummers. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  24. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Haha you are again playing 'magnet' to your Mom and I love it.
Our cat babies LOVE clean bed linens and always want to help; hiding under the fitted sheet if they can... Or diving onto the newly covered pillow with fresh pillow sham.
    Such fun...
    Sending you hugs,
    Mariette

  25. I'm the odd one out here--I never help change the sheets, though I *do* like to lie on the clean ones once the work part is done. I gotted my Advantage dose yesterday, and fortunately it did not make me sick (the Human was of course fretting about that), but we have yet to see if it calms the itchy/scratchy stuff. And kills the you-know-whats.

  27. Me doesn't like closed doors, either, Katie! Mes always tries to get into a closed off room if a door is ever closed, but mes usually does not have success. Mes is glad you gotted in the bathroom!!

  29. I came to report that I hardly scratched at all today! It was kind of a miracle--but I trying to manage my expectations (well, that is more the Human's attitude). But in a couple days I will come over and take you up on your offer of a jar . . . want to make sure I don't bring any extra travelers with me. So ungentlemanly! XOXOXO
