Spring Sunpuddles

Kitties!  I have been loving my sunpuddles.  I lay in them at the front door, at the big window when mom opens and pulls back the vertical blinds.  I love them in the window where mom has laid a blankie of softness for me on top of the couch.

It's cold at night and mom has the thermostat on 68 so I am plastered to her stomach trying to keep warm!  Sheesh!

  7. We're enjoying sunpuddles here too! What's this about 68? Our mommy sets the temp at 67 during the day and 62 at night. Supposedly because we were raised by an Alaskan Husky we can take the cold. Baloney! We wanna come stay with you! Can we bring our cat trees too?

  11. Sunpuddles are the best aren't they? I know where they will be during the day and follow them around without fail. Mom recently got me a heating pad though so I do spend a fair amount of time napping on that now! Stay warm - - - my Dad puts the thermostat on 68 at night too so my heating pad is doing double time.

    Hugs, Sammy

  12. You're a smart kitty, KI. When the sun puddles hide from us at night, a MomBelly is the place to be. Even though our apartment is 5000 degrees, I like to stay plastered to Mom's belly all night long!

  16. You poor kitty, that is cruelty to have such a low temperature. ( Actually ours is set on 67 because I have hot flashes). Spooky would love to cuddle with you and keep you warm.

  19. Yay for sunpuddles, dear Katie! And don't you look gorgeous in them. A question though: why a blankie of soreness? You're not hurty are you? Keep cuddling with your mommy and you'll be alright.

  20. The sun can only be enhanced by your presence in its puddle, Queen Katie Isabella!! 68 degrees is an insult! Several demerits for that and a queenly sulk might be in order!! ;) xoxox

  22. I can just imagine how that sun heats up your black fur, Katie. You must especially miss it at night, hence the need to glue to your Mom. But srsly, make her turn up the thermostat even more!

  29. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Wow, you sure know how to find those sun puddles and rightly so.
Our kitties always do find them or either on the bed where it is soft and warm on the down duvet... Or on a special soft blankie!
Today our four siblings have their 9th birthday and all are happy because the sun is out fully!
    Hugs,

  30. Katie, you look purrfectly content and purrfectly recovered from your recent dental.

Tell your mom there's no one else to take care of these things, so our biped has to get things done...at least sometimes. We bet your mom understands!
