Oh Dear, What Can the Matter Be?

Kitties, I swear, he was back again this morning and though I shouted un-ladycat things to him through the window; still he stayed gazing.  Mom came with the Nutri-Vet calming spray, sprayed the air with it and left the room again while I continued to give instructions to the Maine Coon.

Mom mistakenly thought that was it for the day as I ceased imprecations hurled against the glass--- but sadly no.  He was perched high up within spittin' distance right on top of the heat and air unit outside.  Mom went back  for more calming spray.  After administering it to the air again, she pulled on a shirt and went outside to ask after his family and how were the wife and kids.

He departed in a dignified and slow manner but he did leave.  I am still jumpy and upset.

Mom loves her little figurine.  Bet you can't tell why.  MOL.

  6. We think he might just be in love with you, Katie. Not just your beauty but your inner fire; we bet he's never had a ladycat give him the what-for like he has gotten from you.

  8. MOL at da tabbies comment! Being one of the 93 menz, I am in awe of Mr Maine Coon's ardour! He is obviously a smitten kitten!! But how could he not be when confronted by such floofy beautifitude!! I might have to pop through the tunnel!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The little figurine is a sweet reminder of dear Angel Admiral xxxxx

  10. Geeeesh - everyone is in love with you Katie because you are soooooooo beautiful! Maybe when he's around you could love up your beautiful face. Or I'm going to have to come over there and show him who's boss! That figurine is really sweet. I think Austin hit it right - a sweet reminder of dear Angel Admiral.

  11. Love your moms figurine!
Ok, yeah, he's obviously infatuated with you Katie! I think he likes how tough and strong you are in defending your home. You're going to have to change your behavior so he stops being intrigued with you! So if he likes it when you cuss at him and make a big ruckus, then it's time to do the opposite! When you see him, pretend he's not there, turn your pretty little tail and walk away. He'll get tired of being ignored soon! (MOL, don't you wish it were as easy as telling a kitty to do something?)

Leo Says: OOoo this guy is becoming a pain in my tail! How dare he try to look in at my, um, I mean at Queen Katie! Someone needs to beat the fluff outta him! Maybe all of you, as da tabbies said, all of your 93 fellas could get together and show him what for! Um, I'm not just one of the 93 am I? I'm special? I mean, who else has a cave wall dedicated just to you!

  12. We thought about Admiral too! We have a figurine similar but she's holding a heart close to HER heart. A friend gave it to Mom when Auntie El went to the human Bridge.

  16. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, that was not funny... and Mom is kind of mean to you!
Here we never have used such a spray, maybe there are too many kitties living here?!
Hope things settle down and that life will be more relaxed for you and your Mom.
    Hugs,

    1. Had to google about that spray before I placed this comment... Never knew about it really. But what I meant to say is that with six, there is no way you could do this. Too many to keep up with!
      Hope things worked out fine.

  24. Maybe that Maine Coon is hard of hearing, Katie. Or he likes you! That figurine is beautiful. Does it remind Mommy of dear, sweet Admiral?

  25. #1. The Human has that EXACT figurine on her desk at work! Great minds and all.
#2. Have you considered that he is simply enamored of your irresistible beauteousness and cannot help himself? Really, you shouldn't be screaming feline imprecations at him--you should be murmuring sweet nuffings in his general direction! Wait--what am I saying??? No, don't!!!

    XOXOXOXOXO

  28. I tell off the kitties, doggies, squirrels, birds, humans, golf carts, trash collectors, leaves, street signs, and lawn guys all day long, KI. They still keep coming back. No calming spray here - Mom says the word, "Shut up, maniac." I'm pretty sure that means thank you.... You're welcome, Mom...
