Thankful Tuesday wif Loves to you Kitties and Woofies

Kitties, Woofies, thank you so much for your dear wishes that I have a happy Gotcha Day last week.  I sure did with your friendship and loves to help me celebrate.

Our parents are always as grateful to have us as we are grateful to have them.  It made me feel so happy to see those wonderful acknowledgements of my special day.  I used King Spitty's  creation of the Coronation Crown he fashioned for me and crowned me with when he made me Queen of Tennessee and All Neighboring Lands. Ah, those were the days.  Where are the viceroys now I wonder?

It is snowing today.  As we live atop a hill, mom is usually not very brave about going down the hill in ice and snow unless an emergency occurs.  Once she tells me, when the snow was deep and still falling Admiral needed the Vet immediately.   The clinic that Admiral went to was closed unbeknownst to Mom  due to the snow storm--- only the Vet was still there at the clinic and he answered the phone himself when mom called.  He told mom he would stay if she could come on down right away.  When it comes to one of us, our mom's will do anything to help us so off she went.  If you saw the hill all the way down to the main street that we live on, you'd understand but Admiral needed her doctor, so she went.

I am going from one heat blowy thing to another these past several weeks.  I am glued to the one here in this room right now as I dictate this blog.

Here is a picture of  very surprised me when I woke to snow this very morning.  I'm sorry my furs are in disarray.

  1. Hope you don't get too much snow and especially that you don't get the ice. So stay well Katie. We are hoping that we don't get much snow either.

  2. We hope the snow doesn't last too long. New snow isn't so bad but Mum hates it when it's been walked on it for a few days and it freezes making walking a nightmare.

  23. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Love your surprised face with your lips slightly parted; I know that kind of look...
Today I drove back and forth to Atlanta and low and behold, after shopping and having lunch at Whole Foods, we had some snow flurries! Than it turned into rain. But we got home safely with enough to stock up our fridge and freezer and pantry.
Sending you hugs and stay warm and safe!

  24. Oh Queen Katie what are you doing to us mancats with your secksay morning bed hair! And that little lip curl *shivers with delight* I might have to spurn the snow and come through the tunnel anyway!! You look like you need rearranging ;) Stay warm, sweetie x0x0x0x

  25. You are very fortunate to have such a devoted Mom!

Since you are Queen of Tennessee, and you have such a dramatic expression in that photo of you, does that make you a drama queen? (Hee hee) :-)

We have already had some drama here this morning. There was an intruder right outside our patio door! Unfortunately, the intruder seemed fascinated by Gracie and did not really go away until I went outside and chased it away. It was a kitty we have never seen before.

  26. Disarray? I don't see any disarray! Your furs are all exactly where they ought to be. You are just purrfect, darling. As always. XOXOXOXO (Nope, no echoes here! Just a stoopy Human who has been disobedient for a loooong time now. Perhaps you could teleport over later and help me think of suitable punishments?)

  27. Can you beLIEVE it Katie, my Dad "encouraged" me out onto the deck today. I have decided he is sadistic. I will snuggle with Mom instead of giving him any attention any more.
I am not surprised your Mommy did that heroic thing for Admiral.

  29. Don't worry, KI. When it snows you have ALL DAY to rearrange your furs neatly and do all the fur-housekeeping your heart desires.

  30. Good morning, my darling girl. It does my flinty little heart good to gaze upon you first thing . . .Ah, now that's better! Perhaps in the summer when the snow is gone (I myself have never seen this thing you call "snow"!) we could have a viceroy reunion!?!

  31. Katie, you are so cute even when you think your furs are in disarray. We are happy your mom knows enough to stay home when your hill is icy - she's a smart lady. M hates it when we have a snow day and she's forced to stay home. It's one thing if she elects to stay home, she says. But it is not fun to be forced to stay home. We hope your power stays on too.

  32. The intruder returned this morning! Fortunately, we were able to shoo it away before Gracie saw him/her.
