Food Food Beautiful Food

Kitties!  Mom and brovvers ate like beasts for three days for pity sake!  It was like an old Roman festival or something,  Sheesh! The Thanksgiving dinner at the home of my human sister's mom was totally outrageously good.  Beyond compare  There were four desserts too! ALL from scratch pies and one dessert bread.

Brovver that stayed here from NC left at 1000 this meowing and mom and I hated to see him leave.  We both miss him.

One thing I have as a reminder that my routine has been upset maybe is *whispers---blushes* I haven't made a poopy in this is the third day.  I am eating well, acting well, but no poopy except there were three tiny tiny thimble sized poopy's in the box this meowing!  Mom said if tomorrow also passes with no poopy, then first thing Monday she will try to fit me in with  the Dr.That's scary and mom said she hopes it is upset routine.

Mom opened some pumpkin and I sniffed a long time--- turned to her and said, "You ARE kidding, right???" So no pumpkin went in.  I refuse to lick that hairball ick off my arm--- that comes in a  tube, the hairball gel...and I won't eat it from mom's finger or a spoon or in a dish either.

Mom said I am the worst cat she has ever had about eating anything that can help me other than plain cat food.

Here I am... my waistcoat that I borrowed and that I am wearing is unbuttoned against the strain on its buttons from my doubling over against my, um, floof fitting into this shoe box!

  1. Maxwell: I agree with you on the pumpkin and hairball floof. But I licked olive oil off momma's hand the other day. Not that it helps any, she just thought it was weird. Hope the poopies find you soon!

  2. Paws crossed you have some action in the litter box stat, Katie - nobody wants to go to the vet... Binga had enemas TWICE and you can just imagine what she said about that!

  5. My cats never eat the goopy stuff, I end up mixing it in the wet food and then they sometimes eat it. I hope for a prize winning poop soon to avoids the vet!

  6. Mom keeps careful watch on our litterbox habits - we think she's really kind of weird that way - and if need be, she brings out the CatLax to help things along. It spares us a Stabby Place trip.

  7. Poor Katie. Try a little dab of vaseline on your paw...when you lick it off that helps things get started. We used to do that every couple of days with our Mr. Midnight. xo Diana

  10. Your Majesty! I was concerned to hear of the Royal stop up, so shimmied through the tunnel last night when things were quiet and deposited something under your throne! Did you find it this morning? ;-) ❤️❤️❤️

  12. I hope your poops arrive before you have to go to the vet. Eric used to get pooper problems too and mum used to rub Katalax on his paw. It tasted malty and he loved it. Mum would put a tiny bit on my paw as well even though I didn't need it. I used to feel left out if she didn't.

  13. Has your mom tried Vetasyl? It is sold over-the-counter. If you eat canned food, you can sprinkle it onto or mix it into canned food.

  16. Bhu is with you Katie: not eatin' any of that stuff that actually helps with the poopies. The olive oil sounds interesting, but I think if yer mom sticks yer paw into pumpkin or whatever, you would have to lick it off. Good luck!

  17. "ate like beasts" I LOVE that phrase lol!!!
Katie, pumpkin isn't bad! I have been eating it the past two days cause I am on Prednisonol again. Does mom mix it with your food? My Mom mixes it in and warms it a touch in the microwave. She never gives me pumpkin just by itself and she only puts about a half teaspoon in my food.
Please thank your Mama, the Vet looked at my "lump" on Friday and he isn't really concerned...he thinks I scratched myself (my claws needed to be trimmed badly!), but he told Mom to keep an eye on it and if it doesn't clear up in a couple of weeks he will check it, but he isn't worried.
What he WAS upset about is that I am 12.something pounds....OOOPS!! I am supposed to be no more than 11'ish.......
So, Mom has put me on a diet. The nerve!
So, Katie, I will think of you when I eat my pumpkin tonight...try it, it isn't bad at all!

  19. Katie love, you are just too, too precious. Here you are again looking delicious again in that box. M said it's no wonder you didn't have a poopy, your house was not normal. Even tho you love your brovvers, you were not on a normal schedule. i bet by today you are better. Oh, M told me to say that - what does she know anyway.

  20. Once I was afraid to poop outside because the snow kept touching my tummy. Mom had to get the snow shovel and make a spot for me because she didn't want me to get a tummy ache because of my neurotic weirdness, apparently. I hope you don't get a tummy ache, KI.

    Love and licks,

  21. We's is glad you had a good visit with your brovver. We hopes your tummy troubles are just due to the stress of company and activity and you feel better soon.

You look lovely in your box Katie!

  22. Katie, you don't like pumpkin mixed in your food? I don't eat it straight, but Pierrot and I like it a lot mixed in our canned food. A very small amount of Miralax works well too (1/8 tsp or less).

You look so adorable in that box!!

  25. I hope you was a good girl and had a poopy today. My Human says I am an excellent pooper. What an embarrassing compliment, my darling, don't you think?

I was abandoned when the Human took off and spent some time with her friends in Oregon -- I wouldn't mind that soooooo much, but there were Other Kitties there and she had an adulterous affair with one of them. Phfft. Bad Human! XOXOXOXO
