Tuxie Tuesday

Good Meowning Kitties!

Beautiful Cubby has gone over the Rainbow Bridge.  Please go see his parents and leave a message of love.  Their hearts are broken.

I loved all my furriends coming over and bringing stuffs while I lay abandoned and starving here at home.  No credit card either to order stuffs and it was a scary time.  Who knows what evil lurked in the hearts of ...oh, that's something else...never mind.  The Shadow Knows, however.

I was so glad to see Mom when she finally got home that mom felt badly.  I couldn't stop rubbing on her and making sure she was there.  When we went to bed...way early because she said she didm;t sleep well while gone (probably because I wasn't there) (it was a too firm mattress but *I* know it's because I wasn't there!)  I cried out pitifully when bringing in Donkey because I wasn't sure if she was still with me.  I brought Floppy Mousie next and cried some more. Mom spoke to me both times saying she was there. Then I jumped into bed and sniffed and sniffed her head, face and hair.  Finally I was quiet and laid down with her.  I had my back feets touching her for a long time. I hate when she leaves and it has been a year since the last time.  Mom said if she's able and everyone is well here, she would like to do that more often and that I need the small separations from her.  HA!

The Claw Cutter came last night and stole my claw tips.  Then they talked for 2 HOURS!  Sheesh.  She is a tech where my new Dr. is, and Mom and she get along great.  She's 26 years old and Mom always enjoys younger ladies as friends as they have a different outlook that is refreshing for her to hear and trade stories with.  Mom is a squillion and it's hard to find squillion year old ladies! So she makes friends with the babies out there!  Heeeee.

Mom said I'll be alone a little while tonight as the other favorite son will be here with his wife and child to celebrate Mother's Day with her!  Mom was gone on the day so now they will have ther time. First they'll go out for Fancy Feest and then come back here and admire me.  But I know Mom will be admiring their baby! I'll go off and sulk!

Look at what Mommy bought in Charlotte.  A Japanese Good Luck Kitty! Maneki Neko.

  4. Aw, your Mom loves you Poppy, and I'm sure the fact that she was away from you is the reason why she didn't sleep well. I'm so glad for you that she's home!

  17. We're so sad about Cubby. Our hearts go out to the Furkids and their mom and dad.

We're glad your mom is home with you again Katie! I don't even like our mommy leaving the house for a little bit let alone a long bit! I greet her at the door and let her know I'm glad she's home and should stay home!

  20. This is such a wonderful and descriptive and informative post Katie! I loved it. But here's the thing: I really think you do need to consider revisiting that Purrfurmance review. I think you were *much* too lenient.

I hope you can enjoy your visitors, darling--Be a good girl, and then that Human Baby will be gone before you know it and you'll have your Mommy all to yourself again XOXOXOXO

  24. We were very sad about Cubby.......now he's running free. I'm glad your Mom missed you as much as you missed her - seems you showed her just how much by bringing your toys to her and snuggling with her and I'm SURE she didn't sleep well because there were no Katie feets touching her at night where she was!!

    Hugs, Sammy

  26. Poor Katie :( I am sure your Mom missed you. I like the Lucky cat she brought back.
Your Mom is smart to befriend younger people, it will keep her young :) I have always gotten along better with those younger than myself and older- not so much my own age though :)

  27. My goodness, Katie, in addition to being regular royalty, you are quite the drama queen. :-)

I agree with Brian...your Mom probably missed you as much as you missed her.

Careful about those age comments, Katie, Ron and I are even older than your Mom. :-)

    Very unfortunate about Cubby.

  38. We kitties have to make sure our humans don't leave us alone too often. When M went on vacation, Rocky was so forlorn. I'm older so I understand M will be back. When she came home, Rocky did the same as you: rubbing, head butting, kneading and lying on her loves so she would stay home. Always!

You did what you had to do little sisfur. You welcomed your Mommy in the best way possible.
