Babies and Bridge

The Gates to the Rainbow Bridge should be closed now.   Please close, Gates.  They have been open too long and our babies are leaving us one by one.  Angel,  Ms Stella O'Houligan, Honey P. Sunshine, Ande, and Mommy and I just can't stand it.

Mommy said that she as well as the rest of the parents know all too well the exquisite pain of losing one of us.  We are so loved and we freely give our trust and love back to our family.  Our parents go to the ends of all they know and freely spend their green papers to help us, but sometimes we get so tired that no matter how we long to lie one more time next to our parents sleeping bodies at night..no matter how many times we want to be stroked and petted as we nestle in our beddie or on the bed...sometimes the tiredness just overcomes us and we are unable to come to you any longer.

We know how deeply loved we are.  We love you just as much and  we show it in so many ways.  Nestling in close whenever we can shows it...offering our trusting small bodies to your kisses and hands.  Listening to you talking to us, your listening to our very low sweet speech to you when we come in to find where you are...speaking all the way asking where are you Mommy?  And our tail held so high...the tip laid over slightly and our brilliantly gleaming crystal clear eyes when we see your face and smile.

Let the Gate close a while please.  Our hearts need a rest.

  15. Meows, purrs, prayers that the Rainbow gates would take a breather. My friend Odin left yesterday; his will to live was strong but his poor body wasn't. Little spirits like his slip past the gates, whether open or not. He needed to go home.

  23. You said that so well Katie. Me and my mum cry every time another friend leaves, and the pain builds with each one until we feel we can't take any more sadness.
