Wordy Wednesday

Kitties, mom came back from working out yesterday morning and found the living room floor bare of toys...except Lion.  Poor poor Lion.  I had taken everyone else out that was on the floor and put them in all the other rooms.  Except Lion.  Lion was there all by himself with just my pink tunnel.  Donkey was in the computer room, all the mouses were divided up between the rooms as well as my pizza pie.   And the point being, I left Lion there.  By himself.  Woe is Lion.  Mom said to a friend she supposed Lion needs to go on vacation for awhile so I hope he has a good time.  Brother from NC got him last.  He locked his door against me but I left Lion outside his door.  He wasn't even honored.

Now other brother was delighted at his red heart mousie IN his room where the door stayed welcomingly ajar.

Mom started out on the edge of her bed and I could not gain purchase on the tiny ledge she purposefully left.  But in the night, I got up there anyway and when she went to turn over she felt my silk against her arm.  She resignedly turned over and I oozed into her warm spot while she went to the colder middle of the bed and then, the rest of the night was spent traveling with HER on the opposite edge.  HA!  Tuxies Rule.

  1. Maybe you just wanted the various toys to see various parts of the house. :-) Our Gracie is much less demanding when she gets on our bed! :-)

  2. Way to own the bed, Katie! When Ashton and Pierre both sleep on the bed, they do that. It's a wonder the head peep doesn't drop off of the far side of the bed by the time they are finished.

  5. Way to win the battle of the bed Katie Isabella! Maybe Lion just needs to have a couple of days in a baggie of cat nip?

  6. Maybe you were giving Lion the honors of being the only one in that room. You sure are a beautiful Tuxie Katie!

  9. Queen of the Pink Beddy! Also, perhaps Lion likes the living room and a little solitude?

It is Not Right that any door should be closed against you, Queen Katie. That's why Monarchs have armies. Other Brovver needs to be apprised of the danger that awaits him.

  10. Some humans just don't "get" the honor of sharing a toy....but we know it was a special gift!

  11. Oreo likes to leave me an inch or two during the night, but mean mom that I am, I move him back so I don't fall off the bed. Hope lion enjoys his vacation.

  13. Oh, dear, poor lonely lion. :-)

Good job on slowly taking over what's yours to begin with: the bed!

  14. Blogger is eating our comments! Grrr!

We had written Poor lonely lion. LOL.

And that you did a good job of taking over what's rightfully yours anyway, Katie -- the bed!

  16. Awww...that's so sweet that your one brother was honored by you bringing in your heart mousie to him. Plus, he left his door ajar.

Maybe your mom should have taken you to her sleep study so they could see what really goes on with her sleep!

  21. Your bed battles with your Mom always makes Mommy laugh. Tutu is the only one who spends the night in the bedroom but she usually sleeps on her own bed. Only on rare occasions will she lay next to Mommy's feet. Ling only sleeps with Mommy when Daddy is away. Cosmo will sometimes ask to sleep with Mommy. None of them ever make Mommy move around the bed like you do with your Mom. ;)

Me? I much rather spend it with you, my sweetheart. xoxo

    Much love,
    Your Boomie

  28. Maybe you can send Lion over here. I’ll take good care of him like I take good care of my stuffies. I’m glad we don’t have bed wars. Your bed sounds like the Gaza Strip.
