It's Always ALL About Me.

Kitties, Mom had a video but it was with me faced away, of me reaching into my puzzle box where mom always puts in some of my kibble and taking the pieces out with my paw curled up over the piece and putting it in my mouth.

Every kitty may do that but until *I* did, she had never seen such a thing. So as with the same pride as about any of her kids, she called a friend and bragged on me!

The other night about 3:40, I horked all over the bottom corner of our bed.  Sheets only, no blanket.  But still it smelled heavily of my Science Diet kibble.  She had to get up, clean it up...place paper towels over and under the wet stain to try to protect the mattress. And while I slept elsewhere that was less odorous, she drifted in and out till I got her up at 6.  THEN she changed the sheets again.  She had only just changed them that morning before.  Aren't I good!?

Mom said her usual place, the arboretum, did not plant wildflowers this years except coreopsis and columbines.  So her easiest and best place became useless just as it was last year.  She loves to make macros of flowers and not the usual type as roses, lilies, etc.  She prefers wildflowers.  Well, good luck mommy.  Just don't take me on your search.

I am over the almost 2 weeks of horrible reaction to that allergy medicine.  Sure feel better.

I think I'll hop in my tunnel and head to Austin's home in the  U.K.   If Hannah and Lucy don't mind I would talk to take tea with them a bit later.  I will go prime the tunnel.  xo

Here I am watching Super Reader after I watched  Curious George.  I LOVE my "baby TV".  I really watch.  Really. If mom turned it off while I watch through my eyelid filters, I immediately turn and look at her...till she turns it back on.

  1. About horking. My vet suggested 1/2 of a 10 mg Pepcid tablet - it has helped ENORMOUSLY. I had no idea you could give a kitty an antacid - but you sure can.
    Might ask your vet.
(and boy is that Science Diet stinky the second time around)

  10. I'm glad you are completely over the reaction to the shot, but I feel sorry for your Mom, who had to clean up that mess. I thought B'nai B'rith was Jewish...oh, wait...never mind! Enjoy your visit with Austin. Cute photo of you watching your TV. Tell your Mom I have some better bandages for my finger.

  14. Glad you're feeling better. Your aim was kind of off on the bed. You're supposed to heave in the center of the bed so the human can't get comfortable.

  19. Hey Katie, we are glad you are getting over that nasty, evil shot. No more of that stuff.

We loves our SD. It does make some really stinky mess (the placement is the most impawtant part).

  33. Sweet Katie - you do the most interesting things. M has never met another kitty quite like you. M wishes she could clone you and we'd keep your clone! Then you clone and I could play together.

  34. BRAVO! Fresh sheets AND shunning the smelly bed!

  35. You must love yer mom as much as I love mine! I horked up on the bed twice this week! Mai mom made a laminated fabric mattress cover and it seems to keep the hork from seeping through. She still has to get up and change all the sheets and blankies, though. Just in case you thought I was being easy on her. xoxo Bhu

  42. Ha ha ha ha--LOVE your teevee watching position ;-) And good job horking up the sheets. I hurled up a big old furball on the living room rug the other day--right on the lightest part of the pattern too. It was sweet watching her scrub, ESPECIALLY because she has been "busy" with impawtant Human stuff (an oxymoron if ever I heard one) and not helping me post or visit. I miss you, my darling! XOXOXO
