Poor Mommy

You know, ever since Mommy let me go to the hospital round about Thanksgiving I have not hardly brought toys to her since.  I did bring Donkey maybe 5 times since then and one night, I brought two toys.  That's it.  And Lion is so so sad because HE just stays on the floor never chosen any more.

Mommy said she hoped I would please go back to the way I was.  Lion and red Mousie Heart are lying together in the living room waiting to be chosen.  They are so sad.  (So is mom.  I may do better.  Maybe.)

Fans you fur liking my Christmas card.  xoxoxox

I have a page that I am keeping cards on.  I hope I find all of yours.  Kissies

  1. Oh Katie, we think things will get back to "normal" sometime soon. At least we hope so. You have been through a lot and you need to learn to relax again ;)
That fabulous pickle from Boomer might help :)
    Give it time.
    Oh yeah, Happy Belated Birthday!!

  4. Sweetie - I think in a few weeks you'll be back to normal again. You and mommy and brover have been thru a lot and your household has been different these last few weeks. You know us kitties - we like things just so and we don't appreciate any changes!! he he

  5. I like what Mario said. It's so true about kitties not liking change. It may take a while but I also think you'll go back to your sweet, toy-bringing-to-mom ways.

  6. Change is hard, and it takes a long time to get back to normal. We said goodbye to Beau, our failed adopted kitten, a month ago today, and tonight is the first evening that Ashton went to lay on the blanket at the foot of the spare bed the way she used to every evening. Give yourself time, and you'll feel more like getting back to your old routines again as things get back to normal for you.

  10. Oh, Miss Katie! Being away just interfered with your good habits! In no time, you should be back to normal. xo

  14. We agree with the comments above, we kitties like having a routine and we don't care for changes. We thinks when things calm down you will start bringing your toys to your mom again.

  15. Maybe that lion and mousie could use a little nip "marinating". MOL!

    Happy Tuxie Tuesday, sweet Katie!

  16. Darling Katie, I think you are fine. I mean I saw you having your way with that orange, um, "thing"--MOL! I think you are just changing things up a little. I know sometimes I abandon a favorite toy for a l-o-n-g time and then suddenly--like a year later!-- pick it up again. I think you are just readjusting and developing a new routine. Perhaps you've realized that Mommy doesn't play with the things you bring her? Maybe if you brought her a nice glass of gin or something instead? Or a slice of chocolate cake? That might get her mind off the toys for awhile.

You are a good girl, Katie. Ladycats, especially QUEENS, are entitled to change their pretty little minds at a moment's notice. XOXOXOXOXO

  18. We hope you get your groove back, Katie. Sometimes we just get out of sync, with too much going on. Maybe if Mom puts nip on them it would entice you. ~xo~

  21. Well Katie, if there's one thing I know for sure it's that we kitties are constantly changing the way we do things. Since you were sick you might have even associated "sick" with your "used to be favorite" toys. Maybe in time you'll feel the same about them. You've loved those toys and brought them to you Mom at night for a long time though and I think you'll go back to doing that. Just be patient beautiful Katie!

  22. It did take us a while to get back to "normal" after our sickies. Would you believe Tutu actually walked around with a fluffed up tail for some time after we were let out of "prison"? ;)

  23. Maybe the excitement of the holidays is keeping you too busy to carry toys to your mom sweet Katie. We bet that eventually you will be taking toys back to her so tell her not to give up on you bringing her toys. Hugs and nose kisses

  25. Katie, you are clever to keep your Mama on pins and needles with your random toy attentions. You wouldn't want her to start taking you for granted!! :p
