Meowy Monday a Bit Early

Kitties, another dear girl cat left her family and flew to the Rainbow Bridge.  Her name is Midnight and I have put her sweet likeness from Ann, on my sidebar.  Too too many of our kittie and woofie family are flown away,  and it makes us sad.

Mom was busy yesterday for certain, she was a good part of the day today and will have a lot of time to play more with me tomorrow.  I was exercising my claws on the carpet..arms stretched out while under the coffee table but I only got two each (claws) digs in when mom's really scary eyes looked at me and I stopped without her saying a word!

I have been on patrol like I really mean it after the Siamese looking cat was walking about under my nose right outside my windows in MY YARD!  I had a hissy fit, yes, and I was upset.  Mom sprayed the Nutri- Vet and walked away.  I was still extremely agitated but mom went outside and chased the cat away.  Twice.  But I have been keeping vigil for 24 hours now.  After hissing at mom, I walked toward her and she moved slightly away from me but my eyes were normal and I was walking normally.  I stretched my neck out and headbonked her chesticle.  Four times.  I was apologizing for hissing at her when she came up on my having fits over the stranger cat.  Over all, I did better with Siamese and even slightly better still with long haired black kitty. But make no mistake I hates 'em boaf.

Look at me a few hours ago all flattened out on the little desk in the kitchen (mom said pay no mind to that fire hazard in the plastic file where she has like a YEARS worth of stuff jammed into it!!!) as I was enjoying the heated air coming up from the hot air vent.  Cell phone pic again.  She says that's the only way she can catch me any more.

  6. Oh, Katie, when I get a chance I will look up that thing that scares introoders away for you. I've just been so busy. And Oui Oui says there is nothing wrong with stretching your arms, and maybe your claws. She is so proud! She has purrfected the noise she makes. She is SO loud!

  7. You look purrfectly comfertabuls on that desk. Good for you for finding the warm spot. There's a nice warm floor spot in our hallway that's right over the boiler room (we has radiators) and it's soooooo cozy to curl up on it. It would be even COZIER if you would like to drop by, darling XOXOXO

  9. You'd think those kitties would get a clue and stay away! They must sense the bad vibes you are sending off at the very least.

  16. There are 2 new stray cats at the back alley and they make me floof up! I mrrowww to let Mommy know and she comes over immediately to tell me how good I am. She says she'll be setting up the traps very soon. Both are boy cats looking for food.
I'll see you tonight (Stinky the stray is still nursing a cold so Mommy says it's better if you didn't come until he's well). xoxo

    Love, Your Boomie

Glad you are doing better about the invader kitties...hope you will be able to do even better in the future.

Very cute photo. Gracie often hangs over the edge of a dinging room chair like that.

  29. Katie, we sure understand how you feel about that introoder cat. You know we're having problems with Carla. Our human saw Carla (this morning) saunter right up to someone's front door and get all huffy with *their* cat inside the house! (Door has glass on either side, all the way down.) So it's not just us; Carla's making a pest of herself all around the neighbourhood.

Tell your mom that we all dearly hope she's right that things will be tolerable when done. Well, we want more than "tolerable." There are levels of toleration. LOL.

Nicki and Derry (under the human's account)

  30. Oh, Katie! Try to have a little compassion for the other kittehs in the neighborhood who might not have it as good as you! xxoo Bhu

  31. Darling, On taking another look at that picture, I do see something rather disturbing, although it does seem to be quietly tucked away, not ready to eat you up or anything.

It is brave of you to approach it in its den.

  32. Oh Katie, we are so sorry to hear about Midnight. This has been a very sad year with so many of our friends going to the Rainbow Bridge.

So now you have two cats coming over to annoy you? That is not good. Maybe there needs to be some cat repellent sprayed under your window, outside of course. Four of us are inside/outside kitties and we keep the other cats away from our yard and the kittens in the house.

  33. Since the humans are away, six of us have calming collars on. Have you tried one of those for dealing with your intolerance of those yard-interloping kitties? Mom ends up taking lots of cell phone photos; though, we all know the quality isn't as good. It is much easier to sneak up on us with one of those, and she has leaned that. Hope the bad kitties stay away. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
