Furry Friday and a new PS

Good Meowning kitties.  Here I am on patrol.  Mom made a decision a few weeks ago that will benefit me in more ways than it will cause me a problem.

That is, she has stopped feeding the birds.

One thing and the most important thing was, kitties were coming from who knows where to keep an eye on the birds in MY yard.  And you may recall that made me crazypants.

We both love seeing bird TV but we both don't like the stranger kitties here in my front yard making me crazypants (and I was) and the birds being disturbed if not worse.

So, all windows are free except one in the spare bedroom right next to the feeder area.  As there is no feeder and there seem to be no more kitties, mom said she will take that film off the window to allow me afternoon sunshine and to help with my patrols.

Did somekitty tell me a quarter of a teaspoon of coconut oil daily?

We just learned about Dash Kitten being killed in a dog attack.  God bless his Mom and family and God speed darling Dash.  XXXOOO

Please leave some words of comfort for Dash's mom, Marjorie.

  2. I hope that works for you Miss Katie, to take the bird feeders away. It sure will make life easier for the Mom. Katie, tell your Mom that we did get the kittens all neutered and spayed. Take care.

  3. I'm glad you are able to patrol at the windows now, sweet Katie. There must not be many cats in our neighborhood because we hardly ever see any, and none of them comes in our yard.

  7. Hopefully the kitty introoders will stay out of your yard now that your Mom has stopped feeding the birdies.

Yes, honey. Start with a quarter teaspoon of coconut oil. You can ask Mommy to go up to 1 teaspoon, slowly. I really hope it will help clear up your itchies!

  11. Good patrolling to let your mom know about the introoder kitties messing with your birds. Our mom is thinking of doing the same thing now that there are 3 more bird-loving kitties in our neighborhood. Can't wait to see photos of you in the sun! Purrs...

And I'm sad to hear about little Dash. I am going to stop by their blog right now.

  17. You look so pretty there in the sunshine. Some lucky person will walk by that window and see the most beautiful kitty. Sounds like it's for the best regarding the birds. Enjoy the sun!

  21. We hope that having the feeders gone will keep the introoders from making you crazypants. We had the same problem when we had bird feeders. Some of our birds are so big enough that they chased the introoder kitties away, but not all of them, and when the kitty climbed the tree that is just outside our favorite window, that was the end of bird feeding.

We are heartbroken about Dash, too. So very sad.

  22. I'm sure the birds won't starve and maybe the cats will go away unless they've seen your beauty. TW bought me coconut oil but I won't go near it. Star and Leo just lap it up.

  25. HI Katie.....no more crazypants huh? That's good....you can get more naps and less patrolling in. As for Dash we were so sad and horrified that he was killed by two dogs. We feel so sad for his Mom and visited her yesterday to tell her so. Have a HAPPY Sunday!

  26. I hope you will be more relaxed, Katie. I am sorry about your friend, Dash. That makes me so sad. I don't understand how things like that happen. ~xo~

  27. Well sweet Katie that sounds like a good deal to help both you and your mom. The birdies will find other food supplies and now you can enjoy your windows and the view from them. We bet you will still see a bird fly by now and then. But the kitties hopefully will not hang out at your place any longer. Hugs and nose kisses

  28. Sorry about the closed Birdie-TV :(
Maybe your mom can play a DVD with birdies and let you watch it instead ?!

  30. So not fair for other cats to be in the yard around your birds when you can't be.
Dog attack! OMG! My heart goes out to them.
