(Uneasy) Easy on Sunday

Mommy said I would NOT be Easy on Sunday if I had happened to have been in my tree looking out on the back yard.  There was THIS to contend with and you KNOW how *I* am!!!

This is a Siamese boy or girl.  (S)he's been hanging around mine and a neighbors yard for a few weeks now.  The neighbor does not own a cat so here is another kitty allowed to roam freely.  Poor baby.  Mom and I want all kitties to be safe, healthy and away from predators both animal and human, so mom keeps me and the ones who came before, inside. That's just us.  Your mom's and dad's do as they choose of course. Haven't seen the black long haired kitty in a while nor Ginger.

The picture is fuzzy.  Mom had the long lens on and we zoomed in as far as we could,  but we have a big yard and this was taken through the window and the screen in mom's room as well.  Not ideal.  MOL.

Have a great Easy.  xxoo

  5. Hi Katie. That's a pretty cat (not as pretty as you, of course). It makes us sad that he/she is allowed to roam like that. :(

  6. Our humans have seen two young kitties in the area, we think they are coming to catch chipmunks and that they are feral. It is a nice life at this time of year perhaps, but not in winter :-( One is black and white and the other is stripy tabby gray. They have no collars or tags.

  7. I don't know about your neighborhood, Katie, but where I live we have lots of coyotes and raccoons and hawks and it is TOTALLY not safe for kitties to be wandering around! But some humans still let their cats roam. I hope you don't catch wind of that Siamese kitty, but I do worry about him.

  8. We hope that kitty doesn't upset you Katie and we sure hope he/she has a home or if not, finds one that will keep him/her inside where it's safe! We get irritated by the outdoor kitties here since our mommy worries about them. We wish people were more responsible.

  14. We hope your neighborhood is a safe place for kitties to roam. We have coyotes here now and even if we were allowed out before (which we weren't), we sure wouldn't be any more. We worry about cats left to roam who aren't in safe yards. Hopefully one of your neighbors will take in this kitty so it doesn't disturb you.

  15. Good think you did not see this kitty. It appears the kitty needs a home.Maybe a TNR group can help.

  16. S/he had the good sense to keep away from your house at least. I hope s/he has moved on or maybe gone home to stay there! S/he is a pretty kitty, though, the Human says. But better somewhere else! XOXOXO

  18. M thinks that is one bootiful kitty. I'd probably hiss a little and be done with it - only if he/she came up to our door or window really close. As you know, I not allowed to roam either, but I do get outside on a leash and harness. M wonders if that's why we don't have many kitties visit us in the back yard. WE had one this year in the front yard, but not back. Hmmm, something for M to think about.

  20. What a pretty kitty. Do you think it has a home nearby? If not, maybe you know someone who would like a nice fur baby to love. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  24. Hi Katie......I worry about the cats who roam freely because so many awful things can happen to them on their own.....that Siamese kitty is pretty but who knows how long it will STAY that way living a hard life out on its own trying to survive. You stay inside and enjoy being SAFE!!

    Kitty Hugs, Sammy

  25. Oh Katie san, I hope you don't see the Siamese kitty and get upset. I also hope this kitty stays safe. It sure is dangerous with coyotes and such out there.

  27. Oh no. We especially love Meezers, is there any way to get this kitty to someone in Siamese Rescue? Poor baby. My MomKatt is with your meowmy, Katie: NONE of us go out & it's a "pet peeve" of hers that others allow their kitties to go outside. There are many dangerous & nasty things out there; it takes no effort to keep us 100% safe indoors and she's QUITE passionate about it.

Coming from outside myself, I can concur: Inside is BETTER!

    Purrs you lovely girl,
    Selina

  29. Hi Katie,

I sent what you said about not being able to Comment to my WordPress guru who set up my site and this was his reply. jim ellison July 22, 2013 at 10:06 am

A comment can be posted anywhere on site.

Google Plus? Perhaps what they mean is they want links to various sites like Pinterest, Facebook?

Those links happen via a plugin. –Jim

Okay, I don't think that is what you are tailing about. Did you try bookmarking us, like somebody else suggested?

I'll keep working on this. Janet

  32. We have two kitties that come into our garden all the time. In some ways our Mama is glad that they come here because then she knows they are safe during the day since we live in a busy traffic area. But she wishes the people who own them would keep them safe inside their homes like we are! Some people believe kitties have a better life when allowed outdoors though and there is no changing that.
