Caturday

Kitties, I messed up on the blog hop.  Jan from Jan's Funny Farm found that the link under my avatar was broken.  It is really more trouble to do than is worth it to simple minded folk like my mom, rest her heart.  She is so so so inept and un-savvy as to be pitied.  I don't see a benefit really except it is a nice thought to join the others.  But I haven't done it till this attempt, and everyone did just fine without the little pot roast.

We had a good day so far and hope for a good evening.  But it will be mom and me this time.  Last night she slept the best she has in weeks.  Maybe months.  She hasn't been sleepy all day.  That alone is miraculous!  I had my toesies in her back so that may have finally took hold and helped.

Brother went home and mom and I will fire up the HAM radio (wish it was as tasty as its name, but it isn't) and listen to Smoky Mountain Net. It's a buncha HAMS from TN. NC. SC. GA. and anywhere else on that 2 meter band. I love it.  Mom does too and we will hear brother talking on the net as he is a HAM.  (but again, not the tasty one)

About the horking, remember, I have done that since mommy adopted me.  I am down to about every 4 days where at first it was every meal!  I am on sensitive tummy and sensitive skin fuds and it helps a bit.

Gonna get my easy on early...pee ess:  KittiesBlue, you are on G+ and it won't let me in to read your blog.  I guess that is Googles way to force you into G+ and mommy doesn't want them to have the info they ask for..so she won't and I so regret not being able to visit you and the other G+ kitties.  *sad ears*

  1. Thanks for visiting our blog and for the well wishes you left for Quinn. You are a very lovely kitty and would be quite a striking accent if you were to visit the White Dog Army. Please visit us again soon (we are resisting google +, too).

  3. So glad mom got a good night's sleep. It was having your toeies up against her back that did it. You are so adorable when you have your easy on! Love that picture of you, but then we've never seen a bad one of you.

  4. Katie, that Ham Radio stuff sounds like an interesting hobby.

This may not apply to you at all, but one thing Mom read about when Audrey was barfing up the dry food that she got from the feeder at 5 am was that barfing in the morning may be a sign of too much acidity in the stomach. Mostly she doesn't do it any more now, though, so in her case we think it had to do with the hyperthyroidism. You would be amazed at how chubby she is now - time to check the thyroid again for hypothyroidism now.

  5. Miss Katie, don't worry about the blog hop thingy...we don't quite understand how it works, though we do try to join when others do it.

We're glad your mom got a good night's sleep. We bet you did too.

  6. I had a good night sleep just like your mom. I would like it if radios were made of ham. I would buy one with mustard.

  7. Kitties Blue is http://thecatonmyhead.com. My Gramps used to fit HAM radios during WWII. That was his job. Pop has a fire/police radio which is really inneresting.

  9. So disappointing about the HAM, my little Pot Roast!

That picture of you makes me weak in all my four knees. You look positively EDIBLE!

Also, my Human does not understand even what a blog hop is but since we've been blogging for more than three years now, we guess it doesn't really matter, ha ha meow! Nobody's kicked up out of the Cat Blogosphere ;-)

  11. I'm glad your Mom got some good sleep. I'm sure that your toesies did the trick. Our Mom is resisting G+, too. She looked into just setting up a profile so she could read and comment on the blogs, but it wanted her to upgrade completely and she wouldn't do that. She also thinks they want too much information.

  12. So gland you mom rested properly. Our human is resisting G+ too. Purrs!

  13. We didn't join the blog hop either. Mummy looked up the instructions and found it so confusing, she just gave up.

  14. Mommy has no idea how to work the blog hop either.
All of us are exhausted after having spent almost all of last night playing *leap-over-the-fence*. And now Mommy is busy mopping up the sweaty paw prints. Hee hee.
It makes me so happy every time I see you all snuggled up on the Katie Blankie. <3 <3

    XOXOXOXO
    Your Boomie

  15. Blog hops really are confusing, Katie. My mum looked and looked again and she practically tied her small brain in knots!! She's only just found out how to put the linky on the Cat Blogosphere and she's been blogging since Noah came out the ark!!!

Kitties Blue are on Wordpress, where Cathy Keisha says :)

Now I'm going to ham it up a bit with Tigger ;)

  19. We think you look very cosy napping on your lovely blankie Katie. Mum isn't going to join G+ in a hurry either she doesn't like being "made" to do something. She is very happy with blogger. It's funny though because we seem to be able to comment on some posts but not all of them.

  20. Sure glad the Mom got some good sleep finally. We don't do those blog hops either. So don't worry about it. You can still participate without putting it on your blog. So just have fun.
Glad you have your HAM radio to have a good time. That does sound like fun. You two take care and have a great day.

  21. Sounds like good news all around..... except for not getting some of the tasty kinda ham.

  22. Star says, "Good going getting your mom to sleep! BTW my mom's late father was a HAM. She still remembers his call sign... W4WXH (Selmer, TN)."

  23. So glad Mommy got some good sleep, Katie! To bad that HAM is not the tasty kind, though. Hugs to you both!

  24. Hi Katie I., We have your comment from last night, so guess you found your way to us past Google+. Mom doesn't really know how we got on Google+. Like you, some of this stuff is not her bailiwick. She has a mentor but is always (stupidly in our opinion) trying to do things by herself. Hope you can continue to visit. Have a great week. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  26. I have not yet found anyone that understands Google+ including us and we're on it. I wish I didn't put us on it but I'm even more afraid to attempt to take us off.

Katie, you look so wonderfully comfy on your blankie! The ham radio is very intriguing, but like you Katie, Annie would be more interested if it were the tasty, edible kind. Great news that you're horking less!

Hope you and your mom had a great Sunday!

  27. Glad your mom had a good night sleep. I'm sure your cute toesies in her backed helped a lot :-)
It is so cool you can hear your brother talk on the net. Not tasty HAM but sure is fun!
I noticed I can visit some Google + blogs but not all. I don't know what the difference.Blogging should not be so complicated!

    Happy Sunday, Katie san :-)

  28. Oh well, I did get a look at some blogs I haven't visited before! It all seems unnecessarily difficult. Has your Mom or anyone in her family ever been to the HAMvention in Dayton, Ohio?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I don't do the blog hop either. Mum says it is hard to keep up with the posts in our reader, so we would never be able to visit them as well.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey, we hope you won't give up on the blog hop! Your mom WILL get the hang of it. It's just a bit confusing at first. You would probably be surprised at the number of mistakes others have made. Even ..... ahem, um, us.

  31. Hello my sweet darling! I hope you had the Easiest Sunday EVER. XOXOXO Sorry I missed you at the Princess's Pop Up B-Day Pawty! When I returned, you had gone. Sigh.

  32. I really despise Google+ for a number of reasons, and all the more for taking over the link to people's blogs.
