A Note From Ossie's Mom on Caturday

Kitties!  For some reason Ossie's mommy can't make a comment on my blog where I spoke about him.

Mom got an email from her last evening and so she will cut and paste to preserve the integrity of her message and put it here for you.  She loved reading the sweet comments about Ossie and she wanted all of you kitties to know that.  Here it is:

.

I'm Ossie's Mom and my boy is usually shy hiding from from visitors. I was so surprised by him coming out for Katie's Mom!
He certainly loved on her with numerous head buts and leg rubs.
Thank you for all the nice comments about Ossie. He truly is special to me and has been the love of my life.

Good Caturday Kitties and Woofies.  Brother came here to stay the night.  Mommy just got her new HAM radio.  She is not yet licensed to operate it but she will be before long.  There is quite a test to take first.  She's still studying while *I* help. Brother is already a HAM so he is looking it all over to make sure it is in good working condition.  It's new but may as well make sure.

I have been trying to keep up with all the kitties who come and see me.  I throw in extra kitties from the Dashboard who have blogged, when there is time.  It's nice to have mom to help out.

Mom is going to look for coconut oil sometime this weekend and see if it helps when my dander is more than I wish I had.  I am a fastidious girl after all!

xxooxx

  3. I got a little distracted when I saw HAM. Sorry.
I sure hope the coconut oil will help with your dander. It's done wonders for Tutu. Mommy puts the oil on a small plate then she adds some crushed up Freeze Dried Chicken. We LOVE it! Mommy thinks we aren't shedding as much but it could be her mind playing tricks. MOL.

  4. That was such a nice message from the friend and Mom of Ossie. He does look like such a nice cat.
Glad the brother came to see you Katie. Bet he is lonely without you. Hope you all have a great day.

  5. Oh, we thought you were going to put the coconut oil ON your furs to help your dander. Coincidentally, our sister bean used coconut oil mixed with butter to make some frosting for Baby's birthday cupcakes! Tastes coconutty!

  6. Ossie's got good taste, hamming up to your mom! And speaking of ham, you have some HAM at your place? And mom will be a licensed HAM operator? Does that mean she can wheel and deal HAM like no other? Party, your place!!!

  7. Hi there cute Katie! M has had a couple of her friends say they couldn't post a comment on her bloggy either. Hmmm wonder what that's about. Anyway Ossie is a cute and we were so happy to meet him. If he ever gets on Twitter or the Blog world, the ladycats will go nuts over him!!! (Dang, more competition for me)

  8. I don't like radio because mai mom sings when it's on and I don't like her singing. She gets LOUD . . . REALLY LOUD . . . and I don't like that. Good luck with your mom's radio! I hope she doesn't get loud! xxoo Bhu

  9. I'm a little bummed that HAM radio does not involve actual ham...

  10. It just doesn't seem right to say Ham anything if it really doesn't involve ham.

Ossie's mom seems like a special kitty purrson too but did she really have to give so much detail as to how much your mom cheated on you with Ossie? Sheesh! At least she came home to you!

  11. We hope there's some "ham" in this for you too Miss Katie. (good for your Mom -- my Uncle has been a Ham since he was a youngster)

  12. Well, that is exciting news about your mom studying to become a licensed HAM operator. She has a good helper with your brother.

  13. My SIL was a ham operator when he and my daughter were first married. He has since given it up. I think it will be lots of fun for your mom. xx

  14. What a sweet note from Ossie's mom. Sounds like he loved your mom very much :-) But don't worry, you are always her #1!
After I read about coconut oil at Whisppy's blog, I got one! I hope it will help you!

  17. I love ham! Will she get a chick-hen radio next?

  18. I'm sure you and your brother will have a very enjoyable visit. Maybe you could get a sashimi radio, Katie! :-) Coconut oil makes things taste very good, but we generally avoid it because of the saturated fat.

  19. Mom Paula has been very slack in helping us comment lately because of her surgery and recovery from shingles, but we're back!

  20. HAM? They make a radio out of HAM? What's next: TVs made out of CHEESEBURGERS? I'm on my way!

  21. Hey bikini twin!! ;) I see all the ham jokes have been done, Katie!! ;)

Mum says to tell your mom that Coconut Oil is the best. It is the kind of fat that is good for you :)

  22. Hi Katie! Nice note from Ossie's Mom....obviously your Mom is a "cat magnet" but in the end she's YOURS - all YOURS! One of the few things I will beg for a tiny bite of when I know it's available is HAM....but not on/in/around a radio! I hope your Mom enjoys hers though..... :D

  24. My human and I were curious if HAM radio involved any yummy meat (well, I was certainly eager to know). Well we are a bit disappointed (ok, *I* am) but we've learned something ;-)
    Have a great Sunday!

  28. A HAM radio? Oh dear, couldn't it be a CHICKEN radio instead? Or maybe TUNA? Mummy has a bit of a problem with HAM (mol).
Anyway - it's good for Humans to have a hobby to keep them amused and occupied while we aren't in need of their services. Just make sure she knows that when you call her, the radio must be set aside. YOU come first.
Have a good week, Katie xoxox

  29. Ham radio is a thing of the past. You should get an extra lean Beef radio. It's the latest in meat electronics.
