Furry Friday, Kitty Caturday

Kitties!  I got mom to sit still for a minute to help me out!  Man, trying to stop her running thither and yon is like trying to stop a freight train!  Not easy.

I had a great breakfast and mom saved half of it for my supper serving tonight.  It's my favorite Fancy Feast Marinated Chick-hen morsels.   Nommy.

Looks like it's about time to get to the dreaded v-e-t for another little shot of steroids.  I am itchy itchy itchy and I need a mani-pedi too.  Getting a little sharp kneading the ol' tummy, Mom said.

Mom cooked me chick-Hen and I would not eat it.  What's up with THAT she wanted to know but I couldn't answer her.  She bought me freeze dried chick-hen and I refused that too.  Admiral loved both.  I'm a girl with Tuxie tastes, not Tortie tastes.

Boomie brings me home made jerky that his mommy makes.  NOMMY!  Then we go UTB to digest the jerky and bathe one another.  I have shown him the best windows here for Birdie and Squirrel TV and he lays against me watching as they play.  His Catio is better though.  It's outside.

Here I am in the tub.

Mom and I are trying to keep up these days.  See you over at your homes.  XX

  1. Oh Miss Lovely Katie! Miss Jack here, I think our lovely Tuxie furs are the cause of all this itchy. That's why I lubs my wire brushie, it makes me tingly all over and I've been known to put my paw down (ususally on That Woman's leg) to get attention & get my brushies in. Some say my video shows a rather undignified view of me but you know, what can I say? I look delish from every angle!
Good luck with your itchies fellow girl!

    xoxo

  4. Nice to see an update. Sorry about those itchies. TW says she's bored with my blogs and spending hours every day reading and commenting on my furrends' blogs. Now you know why I bite her.

  5. Katie, we are sorry about your itchies. You look furry nice there in the bathtub, but we are curious as to why you go in there. Don't you know the human may take the shower attachment and come after you with WATER? I am very leery of the tub, on accounta having had a few episodes with a messy bottom, due to my long furs.

  9. We are like you Katie and don't like people food. It has to come out of a sachet. I am starting to get the itchies again too, but mum tries not to take me until it gets bad because the steroid injection affects my liver numbers.

  13. Katie.. why are you being so finicky when Mom gives you such yummy food to eat? Does it have to with your itching or shots, maybe? I hope you'll be okay. Try to enjoy your nommies, okay? :)

  14. We hope your itchies are better soon. The grandpawrents had a doggie who got a red belly and terrible itchies every summer.

Sissy can't believe you don't like people cooked chicken! She loves any type of people food (but can't have it).

  15. We're sorry you have to go to the v-e-t but at least you won't be itchy any more. We like chicken but we don't get it often enough!

  16. I bet you'd like KFC, though. That's the only kind of chicken we like (although my old sis Sophie preferred Boston Market).

I hope you get your itchies fixed!

  17. Katie, send us that chicken, both cooked and freeze-dried. We'll eat it.

  19. Oh, welll, Boomie-this and Boomie that. As if!!! Oh Katie, don't tell me your affections can be purchased for a little dime bag of the 'Vine. You know where all that leads, don't you" Oh sure, at first they give it away for free, until you get hooked, and then they demand Fancy Feast and all your best toys and then you're on skid row, sniffing ground up nutmeg.

It's a dangerous path, Katie. You need to stick with a BoyCat who canmake you feel like a "Queen". . . remember???

  23. Each kitty is different so it's normal we don't all like the same things. At our house, Tama and The Beebs are both crazy about raw meat but Sei and Genj won't touch it!

  35. I hope you get rid of the itchiness soon. That is no fun. It's funny how we like Fancy Feast chicken but not homemade. I actually like homemade chicken a little but not a lot. Your mom was sweet to make that for you though. You're so lucky you have such a nice friend in Boomie. Mama and I love all of them at Boomie's house.

  38. Ha ha ha--I am glad I am making your Human laff XOXOXOX *I* do not find this faux pregnancy too funny, though. I couldn't possibly have gotten so "chubby" from the little extra fudz I have consumed since September! It *must* be a bad camera angle, that's what! You look super-cute in your tub. I'm sorry you are having the itchies though--I hope you gets another dose of the good stuff soon XOXOXO

  39. Star says, "Oh no! I hate shots! I'll come over and groom your beautiful furs to take your mind off of it. Is the itchy from a flea allergy or a food allergy? Mom had to put us all on a lamb and rice diet when the late Samantha was with us. She was allergic to plastic, fleas, grass and chicken. ::sigh:: We used to eat out of glass bowls!"
