Tuxie Tuesday

Kitties, I swear, getting good help outta mom is not easy.  She is always going somewhere or always busy.  STOP that mommy!

Yesterday she finally got into my recliner and I left the sunpuddle to join her.  I always make at least 50 or more passes back and forth over her lap and then, I flop and go instantly to sleep.  Ahhhh....I can't nap without her. Well, I do, but not as well.

She allowed me to sit on her this morning too as the car was gone to the garage for $$$ repairs and so I prepared her lap and fell asleep deeply and profoundly.  Snoring included.  Mom said a kitty snore is so adorable that even when we do it next to our mom's in the night, the mom's wake and smile at the sound.  MY mom does anyway.

Boomie said he was busy with his mommy taking care of her while she is sad because Bernie Bunny flew away to the Bridge, so I have been getting rested up for when he does come over.  Spitty has been busy too, so no one has visited lately.  Just Ginger.  He doesn't use his tunnel.  He just walks over and taunts me!  And looks at me.  I'm glad some kitties said yesterday that inappropriate looking was an awful and rood thing for Ginger to do!  I hiss at him!  Talk to the tail, Ginger!!

Not sure what mom and I will do IF we get the notice other kitties got about using up our space here on Google for pictures.  We are technically useless and can't follow directions.  We are in a sad state.

Meanwhile, here is a shot of Tuxie me on Tuxie Tuesday.

  1. Katie, hope the car repairs are not TOO many $$$.

You can check your Picasa to see how much you are using now. If you aren't already doing so, set the maximum size of your picture as 800 pixels. Mom does it when she exports from iPhoto - goes to "Custom" size on the export, and selects 800 pixels. (she used to do 1000 but after reading Jan's FF blog she switched to 800 cause it seems maybe anything 800 and under doesn't count?) Then that ends up on the desktop of her Mac and then she imports THAT picture into the Blog.
Right now we have used about half our allotment on Google.

  2. We checked to see how much space we had used/had left and over five years, we have only used something like 18% of our free allocation. It's probably because we only ever upload small versions of our photos (with a Mac, you can choose either the small or full version).

  3. That's really funny about you snoring, Katie Isabella! Dante snores too, and it's true -- it doesn't bother me because it's my beloved kitty. Anyone else, and I'd be waking them up to stop the racket.

And that's a beautiful shot of you and Mommy's dresser. Looks like you're getting in your share of staring, too.

  4. Bad Mommy, she needs to stay home with you Katie. So just plop yourself down in her lap and don't let her up.

Sounds like Spitty is on his way over there Katie so take a good baff. I am sure that Boomer won't be far behind.

Have a great day all of you. Katie, keep that Mom in line.

  7. We ended up having to pay a very, very small fee for a year's worth of extra storage since LP is useless at figuring out the size of photos and how to downsize them etc. We have a Del laptop. If you have a Mac it seems to be easier to make the pics smaller.
Katie you look lovely on your bureau :)

  8. Katie go check Jan's post (FUnny Farmers) if you get a notice from Google about more storage. It is really easy to fix yourself up if you use Picasa. (Just make sure all of your photos are 800x600 size for Blogger and you'll never get a notice) You can do resizing on your computer before you publish if you're not sure about the Picasa/Google/Blogger stuff.

  15. So, darling, it was divine to spend an afternoon with you. You know, you've had so many OTHER MEN around your house, a Boy could hardly get a moment alone with you, you know. But we had a good snuggle and a little ear washing and we meowed all our news. Thanks for the little sips of half'n'half. They really hit the spot and gave me enough energy for the teleport home. Perhaps you'll return the visit one night this weekend??? XOXOXOXO And, uh, didn't see no BOOMIE. Meh.

  20. Katie, great photo of you on the dresser.

I snore. The lady says that a kitty must feel very safe to go into a deep sleep and snore.

  21. Katie, Carl is a loud snorer, but not louder than he sings. You should hear the mom & Girl giggle at him when he snores.

  26. I enjoyed our little hammock snuggle last night under the cool night sky at our catio and NO Ginger or Spitty. I can see Spitty has been nursing his hurt feelings of you having come over to my place last night by making up all those ear washing and news mewing. HAH! He was most definitely dreaming all those stuff. But OUR snuggling was real. <3<3<3<3<3 xoxoxoxoxoxo
