Tuxie Toosdee

Kitties!  Quickly I will pass on what mom said.  The flowers cannot be cut off her stinky cactus.  It almost killed the cactus when she did that several years ago and she had to get expert help to root the remainder.  Why it doesn't tolerate the cutting of blooms, no one knows.

Now, I have a picture of me doing what I do best with my Ess.  Never lay on it.  I like to sharpen my claws on it but otherwise I will sleep next to it or near it.  Go figure!

After three or four days of rain, there may be some sunpuddle this afternoon to enjoy.  I hope so.  I am losing my tan!

Wish me luck.

  4. It's your ess, so of course you can do what you want with it! :-)

We have a beautifully sunny day today. Unfortunately, we have also been having frosty mornings.

  5. Such a pretty ESS! It deserves to be graced with your floofy self. In the meantime, at least it serves as a pillow for your cute head.

Here's hoping for sunshine in your neck of the woods!

  6. The stinky flowers can't be cut so that we can appreciate sweeter smelling flowers probably or something deep like that... :p

  12. Our Ess is in a terrible position in the living room and we rarely use it - I think I need to prod my human into some cat furniture rearranging today!

  17. I love especially that second picture of you with the ESS. You look so comfy!
We have an ESS too. Actually Mommy bought it for Cosmo and Ling but they refuse to have anything to do with it so she gave it to us instead. The first thing I do when I wake up is to scratch at the ESS but that's about it. :)

    Love, Your Boomie

  24. Well the way we see it, Katie, is that it is your ess. And you should be able to do with it whatever you want. So if you want to lay next to it instead of on it and put your little socks up on it, then that is what you should do!

  25. Hi dear Katie... we wanted to send our purrs of love and comfort when we found out that Admiral Hestorb was your brofur who had crossed the bridge. Would you like us to honor him by putting his picture on our Angel page?
    purrrs and kisses, xoxo

  26. Admiral would be proud and happy. She is a girl though. She was an Admiral in the FN, the Feline Navy. She sailed the 7 seas and brought home many tales and bags of treasures.

Thank you dear furriend. We would be honored.

  28. Aw Katie, when it's chilly and wet outside, it's the BEST time to relax and nap.. though i'm sure you don't have difficulty with that when the sun is shining! :) And Mom is lucky she saved her cactus plant. Cacti are super sensitive, and whenever i've tried to keep one in my home, it never makes it. :( Hope you're having an excellent week, oh, and i love your 'Ess'..

  29. Hi Katie! Love your ess! I wonder if you have a garage or something for your mom to put the stinky thing in?

  30. That ess looks so much fun to play wif! :)

I also sad 'cause mah friend Diamond went to Heaven. But, he is at peace. (((Luv)))

  31. We bet that Ess helps make your claws really sharp, Katie!

  32. When you flaunt your tail that way, Katie, we would never notice something mundane like a tan!

  33. Pee Yoo! We've heard of those stinky cacti! The arboretum here has a huge gigantic one that flowers every few years. Called "the corpse plant" or something like that! Ick!
I like to prop myself on my Ess too just like that! -Scout

  34. Katie, my sweetheart! You look so very adorable there next to your Ess. I luff the last picture where you are scrunched into a delectable rectangle with your floofy tail at a perfect 90 degrees. I don't usually sleep in my Ess either--once in a while I rest in the "valley" part of it, though. XOXOXO

  35. Katie you still have a very good auburn fur tan through the rainy weather. I think you are an out of box thinker with the Ess to show there is more than one way and that is the Katie way.

  36. Well we are just a day late but we sure hope that darn sun arrives at your house soon. We sure don't want a Katie without her tan. Katie, do us a favor and give that Mom of your as nice head bump. Have a great day.
