Easy on Sunday

Kitties, I am going to take it easy for awhile anyway and catch up on my rest.  Mom kept turning over last night and disturbed me.  She's supposed to be completely still when I am glued to her.

I'll give her one more chance tonight.

  1. We can't believe she would disturb your beauty sleep, Katie. It musta been a momentary lapse in judgement.

  2. Oh Katie, darn that Mom for disturbing your valuable sleep. But you do look so cute on the cat tree. We sure hope you both have a great day.

  3. Oh yes, my mummy turns a lot too in her sleep. I like your cat tree!

  4. Katie, our Gracie could give you advice about being in bed with people who move around at night, and even get up briefly! :-)

  5. Katie, you just pointed out the one advantage we have being a multi-cat home...we can work together to pin mom in one position as she sleeps. She CAN'T move. Ha!

  6. Miss Katie, it is very generous of you to give mom another chance. xx

  7. Don't you just hate it when your human keeps you up at night? Get sum naps today, sweet Katie. BTW, you look precious on that red blankie. XOXO

  8. How terrible! We know what a bad night is like. My kitties won't sleep with me because I move around too much.

I had a very wise Himmie years ago that slept toward the top of the bed. She learned she could avoid the moving body by sleeping there.

  9. I like that photo with the outstretched legs with the tail placed "just so." Very cute.

  10. We have that problem too, Katie. Especially Derry, who likes to cuddle up. Our human is complaining of back pain, hip pain, leg pain, and she's so restless she's ruining *our* sleep!

  11. This is why I do not sleep next to my human - she is a restless sleeper. Even worse, she is TOTALLY unconscious! Like, noises happen and her boyfriend gets up (he is always up before her) and does stuff and she is out like a light! She could roll over and suffocate me and she would never know! So yeah, I'm not going anywhere near her when she is sleeping.

  13. I don't sleep with the peep. That's my sister Connie's job. Do you know what Constance does to keep the peep from tossin' and turnin' and whatnot? She sleeps right on top of her. You could try that... purrs

  14. If my Mommeh tosses and turns too much, I get up in a huff and leave. I am sure it teaches her a valuable lesson.

  15. How lucky you are to have such good places to catch up on your "beauty sleep!" Mom must be busy today and won't be able to join you in a nap!

  16. Humans are weird how they toss & turn like that. They always have to be moving, whether awake or asleep.

  19. This happens with Mom often so I just move to a position where I can make her still as I loves to sleep with her, but do not want to be disturbed. Good of you to give Mom another chance to stay still in bed.

  24. Well Katie.. you're absolutely gorgeous, so you don't need beauty sleep, per se. But i know how much you and all felines like to get plenty of rest and relaxation, just like you love to be clean, well groomed, and have some great playtime! But your Mom deserves another chance. She might just have been restless. That happens to us humans once in awhile.. :)

  31. Oh, sweet Katie we are sorry your mom just wouldn't be still and let you sleep. Glad you took it easy and napped today...maybe you can wiggle tonight and your mom can nap on the cat tree tomorrow. :) Hugs and nose kisses

  32. Oh my poor sweet darling! Doesn't your Mommy know the Sleeping Rules? I think it is outrageous that she disturbs your beauty sleep. What say I come over tonight and we curl up together in purrfect harmony somewhere WITHOUT her?? I hope you'll have some food for me, though!!

  33. Poor sweetie! You need some extra naps and some extra treats to make up for it I'm sure!

  34. It sounds like both you and your mommy need some more rest.

  36. I love your back footsies!

I don't blame you. Baseball game yesterday meant LAP TIME for me ('cept when the Tigers scored - which was 3 times, they won the game) DadKatt yells and wakes me up! Grrr ...
