Wordy Wednesday

Kitties!  It was a four toy night!  I have four of my favorites in the bedroom!  I have the sweetest announcement Mom said.  She never minds hearing me as she says I sound like I'm talking and my voice is low.  I brought in my tomato, my kickaroo, my nip cigar and my big brown fur mousie!  It doesn't get any better'n that, kitties. Mom here:  Actually, 5 min later I saw her donkey!  It was up against the closet door.  So it was a FIVE toy night.  Busy girl!

Here are the toys in an early morning capture complete with a shadow!  AND here is our bed.  Note that it is extremely rumpled and tossed about it.  I rule here.  Mom gets to sleep on the edge, no really...and I expand to fill the rest of the bed.  I mash into the small of her back.  I graciously allow her to turn over occasionally and then, I am mashed into her stomach.  Ah...the rest of me just fills the space and mom has murmured occasionally that she may as well let me have it and she go sleep in the spare bedroom. What?  There's a problem?

  11. I don't get it. The only toys I drag around at night are my feathers and long straws and never into bed. A sleep on the pillow next to TW's head cos I know she's allergic to cats.

  12. We are impressed with a five toy night! Jenna visits me in bed at least once a night. I can't say she does anything for my sleep, though :)

  14. You must be exhausted after a five toy night Katie! When I bring my toys to mommy in the middle of the night, I don't announce it so sweetly. :)

  24. Wow, Katie, you have been so busy. That is a lot of work to haul all those toys into the bedroom. Bet you are exhausted. Have a terrific evening.

  25. You are just like my Ashton Rosevelt. He's my grey striped boy and he talks to me while bringing his toys. One night he brought ten of them upstairs and left them for me to trip on in the meowning.

You are too cute Katie !!!

By the way, Meredith Ann went outside today and heard something and asked to come in right away.

  26. It's like... leaveing a trail of bread crumbs so you know how to get back! MOL
What good would it do for your mom to go to the guest room? You'd only follow her and sleep in there with her, right? It's the human you want to mash into, the bed is just the foundation to the mashing!

Leo says: Katie, yes, your picture is still in my mancat cave... That's ok, isnt it?

  28. Oh little Miss Katie
you remind us of our Gracie. Mom has a toy box which we can go and get our toys out of. Most of the time it's Gracie who does the selecting. She loves to play. I bet she would love to play with you!

  29. Humans don't REALLY need as much sleeping space as they say! So you do not have to pay attention to your human's complaining, Katie!

  32. A FIVE TOY NIGHT? PAWSOME! You have some REALLY GREAT TOYS. A Tomato?

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think that bed looks just PURRFECT for me and you. Your Mommy could go out inna living room and sleep with your toys. I don't want her coming in at night and bothering us though, so we'll have to close the door. She won't cry and scratch at the door too much, will she?

  34. Shakespeare said "Her voice was ever soft, gentle and low - an excellent thing in woman." (King Lear) Perhaps its an excellent thing in kitties too.
