Freaky Furriday

Kitties, I'm not freaked out yet but maybe next Toesday I will be if mom decides that she's freaked out.  I have to go to the v-e-t for my annual shots. I will have a physical too.  I don't remember any more how I react to those things before I came to my real mom here at my home, and mom doesn't know if the shots will make me sick the way they did Admiral.  Mom didn't put Admiral thru it for the last 4 years she was with us.  So we will see what happens.

For almost 2 weeks I didn't hork up a meal but I sure did this morning.  My favorite fuds and I must have eaten too fast even though mom gave me a small serving.  There was all the kibble I ate in the wee hours in the piles I made all up and down the hall and in the entry way.  I horked in 5 different places.  Some were small drops but three were substantial.  Ewww.  Mom's brekkie was spoiled again.  I say to her...I'm worth it.

I'll have some lunch later and see if I can keep THAT down.  XXOO

Oh dear Katie, I hope it is just eating too fast. I sure hope you can take your shots without any effects.

You must have been talking to Lucy - she has been the same as you today.

Sorry you horked up this morning Katie - you were doing so good for so long. Actually, it was about time. Tell mom not to worry so much about the shots. I know sometimes a kitty or doggie has a reaction, but there are probably a larger percentage that have no reaction at all other than being tired for the remainder of the day.

Five throw-ups in one night? That takes quite a bit of skill, I should think. Yes, quite a bit... What shots are you getting at the doctors' office? I don't react to them but some of my sisters do. Not so much the annual FIV one. That one seems pretty easy on everyone. It's that rabies shot. Icky! So glad we only have to have it once every three years. My sisters who react to their shots, have a very sleepy day or two and maybe they throw-up a bit but within 48 hours, everyone is back to normal. May the purrs be with you. purrs

I know you're very good bomit trap layer, but please give your loving Mom a break, dear sisfur. I am sorry about your testy tummy, though. I know the foods are good but there is plenty, so slow down some.

I hope you don't have any problem with your shots. Fortunately, none of our kiities have had problems with their shots. Maybe your tummy is upset because of the impending v-e-t visit. Or maybe you are just eating too fast, again, hmmm?

I like to think that I inspired you. You should try getting real high up and letting it fly like I did. Hope you feel better and better get your Mom's cell phone & cancel that appointment.

We are sorry you yakked up your food this morning. That is no fun at all for anyone.

Our beloved Tabitha had to have her vaccinations a couple weeks apart. She got very ill if she received two at the same time. She also had to have non-adjuvant vaccines.

Good luck at the Vet Katie. If you stay inside you should only have to have rabies shot. Have your Mom ask the Vet about some benadryl if you have a reaction. Audrey reacts strongly to her shots. Mom has not taken her since she came to live here, because her other Mom took her just beforehand.

We don't get the booster shots anymore - mom feels that they are too much and can make us kitties sick. Rest and and have fun this weekend.

Katie, we are so sorry you are tossing your cookies again. I hope those shots don't make you sick and if they do, you probably don't need to have them again. Hope your food stayed down the rest of the day. Take care.

Oh Katie. 5 piles! Meow-Me occasionally throws up her kibbles and Mommy thinks could also be due to her eating too fast.
I'll come over to visit on Tuesday evening after your annual vet visit.
We get our vaccinations once every three years since we are strictly indoor only kitties. And only the basic vaccination.

Katie you sure are the bomit queen! Perhaps mom could ask the v-e-t whether is because you are a little piglet?? xoxoxo

Katie
We think your Mom ought to talk with your Vet about those shots. Mom has come to the conclusion that she doesn't want us to have anymore. Since we are indoor only and the chances of us being exposed is very limited she feels like it's a better option for us.

We hope all goes well for your shots Katie. Are you sure the horking is caused by eating too fast? Eric used to hork all the time for several years, then when we saw a different vet he suggested cutting out any foods that had any form of beef in them. He said a lot of cats are intolerant of beef. Mum reads all the labels now and Eric only occasionally horks a hairball.

Oh Katie, I hope your toesday goes well. I love the term "hork", it's so descriptive! Sorry you horked though.

Hmmm, I think you might be a sort of involuntary bulemic, Katie--ha ha ha. Keeping that girlish figure are you?

I had a pretty good hork the day before yesterday, though I only hit three spots to your five. I guess I'll have to try harder.

Katie, Leo is a horker too. LP is convinced he does it to keep her in the foster room longer since she has to clean up after him!! :p
Malou and Levon are getting their booster shots next week. LP is nervous too because she knows many cats can get very bad reactions to shots. Good luck with yours!

You poor girl! All that horking! Shots are so stressful & can create issues, too. Maggie P. always has a reaction, so has to get hers at different visits. Grizelda does okay, but Chloe Jo also has a sensitive system. Getting those two into crates is the worst ordeal!
Please be well, Miss Katie Isabella! You are special! ~xo~

GreatGranny said...

It is prolly from eating too fast, sweet Katie, that you horked. Mom sees my food the way it went down. Sweetheart, I hope the shots agree with you.

You are worth it beautiful lady. however, I always tell my kitties - please just throw up all in one place (and on the tile floor is so much better than the carpet). But they are cats do they don't listen!
