Wordy Wednesday

Kitties and woofies, please purr for Ms Stella O'Houligan today.  Her precious paw still has an awful wound and her has to go to the V-e-t again and have her poor toe removed.  Ms Stella (not that I said it) is not quite as youthful as she was, so please purr for our dear furriend.

Kitties, I DO have two windows to look out of where I can watch TV, yes.  But I want the view I get from the all glass storm door in front of the house.  I can see to the edges of the whole world there!  At the windows I can't.  The front door is also my favorite sun puddle place.

Soon, mom will open the door for a little while. The horrible screaming we made was un-nerving when he got here the first time.  Mom quit feeding the birds too hoping that if the Ginger wanted to catch a quick meal, his vittles are now gone... literally with the wind.

Please purr for Ms Stella. The Admiral and I both are.

  4. Poor Stella - we are sending purrs.

So, it sounds like you have two choices young lady, deal with windows or deal with the introoder. Cause continuing to make your mom nuts is NOT an option..... :)

  7. Awww , poor Miss Stella :(
I most go over and pay her a visit !
Me and mom can understand that your love your door wiff glass all the way down to the ground , but if the "bad" kitty keeps coming the best thing to do is cover it with something so you don´t get all stressed up.
Mom heard about a cat that got all stressed up about a "bad" cat outside and he started to pee in the sofa. Maybe better to cover the glass a bit , don´t you think :)

  8. It is so nice of you to post about Stella. We feel so bad for her and her humans about her toe not being better and needing another surgery. It just isn't fair, is it?

We hope you can get some sessions with your storm door when Ginger is not around.

  14. Hi Katie...good idea not to entice your interloper with a bird buffet.
We had to do that several years ago too. Surely he will move on soon

  15. I mentioned your "Ginger situation" to my husband and he made a good suggestion. He said to trap the cat humanely and bring it to the Humane Society. Then it becomes the owner's problem. They will need to pay a fine to get their cat back and then maybe won't be letting the cat wander the neighbourhood so much.

We will visit Stella and wish her well.

  19. Star says, "Oh dear! We rushed right over. We've even got an auction item if they have an auction to help her because mom tried to order a new case for her iPhone and ended up ordering an Itouch4 case instead... it's silver with our late brother Thomas' "Get Off My Lawn" picture on it. Mom was going to return it but got busy and never got a round tuit. Mom's going to an event in 10 days at Rock Island State Park. You should sneak over here and we'll trash the house."

  26. Dear Katie,
Please pass on my best regards to Miss Stella. I am not a fan of the v-e-t, in fact my humans are downright embarrassed by the way I carry on... but the feeling is mutual, the v-e-t is not a fan of my big doggy teeth.

  43. Miss Katie,

Ms. Stella has ORDERED me to sit and write you a personal note of many, many, many thanks; pets; kisses and purrrrrrrrrs back to you for all your support of her and her tribulations. She said that meeting all the new peeps who have left messages has been very fun and when she's up to it she will be visiting each of their blogs to give personal thanks.

She is resting again today in her cool, dark GurlCave and very often sleeps with her little tounge sticking out quite adorably however I know what she REALLY means by that! MOL.

She has allowed The Orange Menace to come in and see her for short periods of visitation but no one else is allowed in. (except this author who is only barely tolerated and even then only because I have the wet stinky goodness as offering to HRH)

I am going to have an auction after all to help with the costs given that her second surgery wasn't much less than the first and since that first one took all we had and then some (and she's worth.every.penny) so I am hopeful to get some cool stuff to put in and a couple other CB'rs offered items as well. I will also post just a 'chip in' for those who may not want to bid on something but just give what they can IF they can.

Again, thank you so very much for all your purrrs and give our very best to your mum too.

    xoxo
