What Shall I do Monday

Kitties, I have a little bit of a sads.  Mom won't open the front or kitchen doors any more and I have no interest in the deck door, the one door she will open for me.  So I can't look out and enjoy my Bird TV, Squirrel TV..nothing.  I ran to the windows and looked out and this morning and I saw that black cat again in the same place next yard over, that he was when I posted a picture of me looking at him a month ago.  This time I growled and hissed.  But mom was able to distract me since he was in the next yard and I wanted breakfast AND he showed himself no threat last time.

So I am mostly lying on the floors in the various rooms since I refuse to get on my tree (I just won't, no matter what mom does to make it tempting) and while Mom does play with me, I just want to look out of the door but mom keeps it closed now.  Mom said she feels that the Ginger lives with someone down the intersecting street,  We saw the tail end of him as he made his way across the street and down the lane just as mom raised the blinds yesterday morning.  I hissed, growled and bristled but he didn't see me as he was almost out of sight.  He looks well fed, so he likely is a nearby resident, more's the pity.

Ambassador Schonheit a woofie of New Zealand, has pledged his protection of my home boundaries so perhaps I may be able to enjoy the outdoors again.  Mom has known him and his parents for several years now and I know without doubt how reliable he is. Boomie said he will go teach the Ginger a lesson about spraying MY door and being a bother when HE, Boomie comes over and Spitty has been a very soothing influence since all this drama began.  I am a fortunate kitty.  XOX

Oh, Katie... you've got a black intruder AND a ginger one? Oh my goodness, what are you going to do? And now there's no bird tv or squirrel tv or any of the good stuff? Why should you suffer 'cause of intruders? Hopefully, they'll decide to interest themselves with other stuff and other yards and leave you alone so you can go back to having open windows and doors. May the purrs be with you. purrs

I am so sorry Miss Katie. I hope the owners of the black and ginger learn to take better care of their pets. xx

poor baby.....we just don't understand not liking the tree though - we like ours so much we sometimes have to double up on cats per level. :)

We have that problem here too Katie now that we have our garden. We have two introoders who come regularly to do "their business" and to eat our catnip!
We hope you and your friends will keep the black and the ginger cat far away from your Queendom so that you can resume your partol duties in peace :)!

Katie that is terrible that this ginger intruder is spoiling your Bird and Squirrel TV! I hope your human figures out a way to keep him away from your yard. He has lots of other places he can go visit.

Oh, this is very sad indeed, Miss Katie. We sure hope those cats' humans learn to take better care of them. Because missing bird and squirrel TV is just not good. Not good at all. :(

It's horrible that those outdoor kitties are messing up your cushy inside life Katie! Hopefully they decide to go bother another kitty and leave you alone so you can enjoy your TV again.

Dear Katie

Bird and Squirrel TV? That sounds exciting, we don't have squirrels in New Zealand, but I hear that they provide quite splendid entertainment when they try to get the seeds out of the anti-squirrel bird feeder... "around and around the feeder they go, where they land no-one knows..." (Actually that reminds me of some poor Sims on a round-a-bout a few years ago...)

Dear Katie...
I am on auto-comment-approve now...? Does that mean I can double post? Huh, huh, huh?

I must say that I am honoured indeed, (I hope you don't mind me using English spelling on your blog, it is kind of an old antipodean habit of mine).

I think I posted a link to a picture of Sir Oliver, (aka - Lord of the Sofa, Bed, Feed Bowl, ... but here is a picture of the other kitty I live with, Miss Millie.

While she does 'tolerate' me, sometimes I really get the feeling that she does not fully feel totally comfortable with the size of my teeth.
Meh... whatevs.

The only other kitties that come around mai house are Stumpy (a ginger with no tail) who is always huntin' fer moles (which is wai mai mom likes him) and Isadora, a big, fluffy Maine Coon who also hunts in our yard fer birds or whatever she can find! They are very interesting to watch, but they can't see me hiding in my window fort. xxoo Bhu

Oh Katie, I'm so sorry those intruders are ruining your Good Times!

Maybe your mommy could put some moth balls outside to keep him away so you can have your TV back.

Spitty-the-Kitty said...

Oh, so they're all "brave" and I'm just soothing?? Well, we can't have THAT now. Even though I have nefur been in a real fight, and even though I'm kind of puny, and even though the Human thinks I'm pretty much of a coward about stuff...STILL!! I will teleport over to defend you--if only from Boomie and Austin, MOL. Hey--or maybe it IS better to be inside with snuggling you than outside getting beat up. Hmmmm. Let me think.

Whooooa! Sounds like you had yourself quite the eventful day. Mom knows best, she just doesn't want to see your stressed. Here's hoping that Ginger gets the hint of the CLOSED door.

Sounds like the introoder better not get too close to your house now!

The Island Cats said...

Katie, we sure hope those introoder kitties stay away so you can get back to you Bird TV. We bet you are missing some great episodes.

Dear Katie

Well I am just going to have to comment on this post again... cos there is not a new one yet, even though I know it is morning in your part of the world, and you are probably telling Mom it is time fro your breakfast. I just wanted to let you know that I have still been digging about trying to work out the best way to represent my profile on the interpaws... and I think I have now come up with a splendid idea... make mah own doggy d-log!

Anyhoo, if your Mom is awake, then it must be time for me to head to my mat, by the Master's and Mistress' bed, turn around three times... and zzzzzzzzzzzz...

Well that isn't any fun Katie. Maybe the bad Ginger kitty will go away. Sorry you don't get to look out the windows though but it makes you kinda nuts. We know how the Mom feels.
Take care.

Eric and Flynn said...

Katie, you can count on our support too. We will teleport over and keep an introoder patrol for you.

It's sad that your life has to be spoiled because of bad cats. There ought to be some sort of "Animal Control" department/division/whatever in your area. Since the ginger cat is causing many problems, I think your Mom should report it (and, in effect, its humans) to Animal Control.
