Tuxie Tuesday

Well, I think I gave mom a clue.  She served me turkey marinated morsels for breakfast.  These are small little bits.  I ate..and mom was preparing (you already know what's coming don't you?) her breakfast and had just poured her coffee when she heard the old familiar sound.  My horking up the breakfast I had just gotten down.  SO..her coffee cooled while she got out the oxi spray and the whole roll of paper towels to get it up.   She always gives me breakfast first before herself and if I'm gonna bomit I never fail to nail the carpet just as the coffee is poured.  She likes it boiling hot so she has to take tiny sips.  Not just hot or pretty hot the way it gets after she has cleaned up the three piles I made this morning.  She knows what a microwave oven is she mentioned rather tartly to my inquiry but she doesn't wish to 're-hot' her morning coffee that way.  Her problem...not mine *I* say.

So..she got a clue and won't buy that any more.  I'll bomit anyway no matter what it is about once a week or so but that marinated morsel food gets me every time.  I saw the light come on over mom's head!

Kitties and woofies, have a good day. Me...I'm looking for hard kibbles to eat.

  1. Isn't it fun when you can control everything by horking?

  2. Katie, I saw an ad for "indoor cat food". Do you kitties that don't go outside eat differently from ones who can play in the yard. Or is that just a marketing trick?

If I were your mommy, I eat my breakfast and drink my HOT coffee at my leisure, before I served you. ;-)

  3. Katie what does the vet say about all your bomiting, do you have a food allergy or just a sensitive tummy?

  4. He thinks it is a sensitive tummy.

  5. Do you gobble your food down Katie? If Lucy gobbles too fast she can bomit sometimes.

  7. I am happy to see that you know how to keep mom under control Miss Katie. Keep up the good work. :-) xx

  8. Sometimes the humans take a while to "get it". Seems to me, Mom should have her entire cup of coffee before you get your breakfast (that is MY MOM speaking, not me for sure!)

  9. Katie, I don't like the marinated stuff, either. Actually, none of us do. You'd think that with twelve cats one would but no... no marinated stuff for us we say. purrs

  10. I think Mahoney has the same problem as you do Katie. Yesterday, she tossed up everything she had eaten that morning. And of course all over the carpet. She does it fairly soon after she has eaten. Little Bit will do it right after she has eaten.

  11. I bomited my fuds yesterday too! My whole breakfass! Rite on the rug!! It was pawesome!

I think I am protesting the Human's "damagedness" and lack of attention to ME and MY needs. She just sits around emitting strange little moans. Surely this will end soon and my usual level of service will resume?!?!

  12. My Goro's stomach is sensitive to certain things...like beef. But he can digest toys with no problem. I'n sorry you had to bomit. I don't like to re-hot my coffee with microwave either...it tastes different!

  13. Meow-Me sometimes bomit up her kibbles if she eats too quickly. And the yucky part is her two kids (Coco and Felix) will rush to eat up the bomit before Mommy can clean it up. YUCK. Me? I stay far away. Okay okay, I'll wear that silly harness since you think it looks good on me. Promise you won't laugh when you see me (those neck buckles make me look like I have a stiff neck)? Golly, I hope that harness doesn't get caught somewhere as I am teleporting....XOXO

    Love, Your Boomie

  14. Katie, you need a little brother who will eat anything, including "warm dinners". It cuts WAY down on clean-up!

  16. Katie, mom’s can be so thick sometimes can’t they!!! Austin says he swears he has to jump right up and claw me in the face before I get the gentle hint!!!

  17. I'm glad your human is getting a clue about what makes you vomit, Katie! You are kind of lucky - if my human were feeding you, she would be doing it AFTER she ate 'cause she does NOT like being faced with that right before she is getting ready to eat, MOL! She is all about conveniencing herself at the expense of us kitties - hard as I've worked on her, she still does that WAY too often.

  18. Katie Isabella, has your mom tried giving you Coconut Oil (it almost looks like lard)? I put it out in a bowl at my house and all the kitties (well, almost all) like it and they don't bomit very much anymore.

    Love the picture...

  21. So, what will make you bomit next? After all, you have to keep her on her toes! PT

  22. Ooo, Katie! What an unpleasant way for you to start your day! Also, your mom is very patient with you. You must make it up to her someway. After all, a nice hot cup of coffee is her special way to begin her day.

    Be sweet, now.

  23. Katie, hoomans aren't all that clever...and there really isn't any proof that they are trainable but apprently repetition is good. Hopefully with every repeat bomit, your Mama will eventually clue in completely about why exactly you are bomitting!
We'll keep our paws crossed :p

P.S. Leo messy bomits all the time. LP is thinking maybe she should change his food to that hairbal formula but she doesn't know which one would actually help if any...

  24. Oh dear Katie.
Well we are glad that you are OK.
None of us kitties likes to bomit, so we hope that the number of times decreases for you.

  25. If you are eating too fast - We some a bowl where the kitty has to eat around the bowl and it slows them down. Kinda looked like a metal dog bowl upside down.

  26. Well, it may take moms awhile but eventually they figure it out! Hope you got more breakfast to replace what you horked up!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well hey, at least the hork wasn't in her coffee!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well, at least your mom finally figured out one food that you shouldn't eat.

  29. My hoomin trew up yesserday. Now she better. :)

  30. Oh Dog! That finding the right food thing is so hard! I hope you find something that's right for you and keeps your horking to a minimum.

And Jen says to tell your mom she understands the importance of a good cup of coffee.

  31. Aaaaarggghhh! Blogspot just lost my comment, and it was a long one. :-((( (groan) anyway, I'm glad your Mom realized that the marinated turkey was at least part of the problem.
