Happy 4th, furriends. Enjoy the day and I hope there are no loud noises to send you UTB. My human brother is here--- the oldest one--- so I have him to celebrate with. He just came by for overnight and truth be known...to do his laundry. We glad of that. See you over at your place later. Nothing exciting going on here cause he's going home at noon.

Have a happy and quiet Fourth! We should be pretty quiet here--fireworks sales are down this year because of the fire danger.
The official fireworks around here were all last night. Any fireworks today or tonight will be unoffcial and illegal. I wonder if Ron & I should make a Citizen's Arrest...probably not. :-) I'm sure you are glad to have another member of your human family visiting you, even if it is for a short while. Yesterday Ron & I went a cookout with relatives of Ron's We had a very enjoyable visit. Before the cookout we did some shopping and looked in antique/collectible stores. Hope you and your human family have a great Fourth. We expect to have an uneventful day today.

Hello my darling, I think I will be over later after your brother goes home to collect my brushies and dinner. My Human is still, um, shall we say, "distracted"? She's had enough water and cranberry juice to float the Queen Mary...but so far, no dice. I need a little vacation from the complaining.
He's going home before the fireworks? Bummer. The peeps get to watch the Macys fireworks in our courtyard.

Happy Furrth, Katie! My woman watched the big fireworks from the front walkway, then she went out on the back deck to watch all of the smaller ones around the lake - 6 or 7 of 'em. We sat by the screen and told her to come in and *shut the slider door, right now*. We don't mind the noise so much, but would rather that she was inside, with us. Purrs.
