Aftermath

Kitties, I saw that bad ginger this morning when I leaped up to the desk in the kitchen and looked out of the window as I always do while waiting on breakfast since mom just opened the blinds.  It was 0630 and he was just across the street walking down the lane.  I growled but mom distracted me with fuds.  That cat has been spraying the kitchen storm door mom said.

Mom opened the back deck door for me because it's unlikely that the stranger cat can get up there.  There is a tall fence on the lower side of the deck (privacy fence) and the other three sides are high enough up to make casual checking-out unlikely.  In the time she has lived here mom said she hasn't ever seen a kitty but ours on the deck.

Kitties, fanks you for all the help yesterday.  I was so upset that I couldn't think straight.  I was on the alert all day and evening but pleasant about it.  I would nap on mom but the slightest outside sound had me at full alert.  I laid close to mom when I was in the bed last night..hemming her in.  Usually I am at the foot of the bed.

This was me two days ago B.S.C.  (Before strange cat) and I hope to be that peaceful again.

We hope you have a calm and easy Sunday, Katie, with no intruder cats lurking anywhere near.

Your mom may want to put up signs to see if he belongs to someone. If not, maybe see if she can trap him, get him neutered and at least that might help a little bit (plus no kittens if he finds a girlfriend). Glad you are settling down a little - it isn't so nice sometimes to have strangers on your territory.

Just snooze right though it sweet Katie, it's much more fun!

Glad things have calmed down in your house Katie. Katie, tell Mom to write our Mom an email if she wants some help in trapping that cat or at least see if he belongs to someone. Sure hope things remain calm at your house now. That must have been very scary for both of you. Take care.

So sorry you were disturbed by that intruder cat! I would panic if that happened to me, too.

We are glad you are not so upset, Katie. Tell your mommy to get some Nature's Miracle and spray the kitchen storm door. It will neutralize the odor. We are all for getting the bad ginger trapped and neutered, too!

That nasy cat is definitely a problem. On your Mom's blog I suggested that maybe a trap, neuter, and release group could deal with the nasty cat.

Breathe, sweet Katie, breathe! All is well! I think the feud between the Gingers and the Tuxies goes way back. It's history. Kiss and make up, babe :) xox

I so hope you can dream of tuna and catnip again instead of mean outside cats.

Meredith Ann has been at our vacation home for two weeks. She's had the best time sitting in the shade on the deck.

She's going home today. Don't tell her. She'll have to go back to her leash and woods.

Dear Katie

If you require any assistance, I will be more than glad to patrol your perimeter, and ensure that it is well marked out. I am very attentive to maintaining the security of all felines under my benevolent domain, that transends to both sides of the 'great big wet thing' (aka the Pacific Ocean, and the lands of the wild west.)

Is there any way of trapping and neutering Strange Ginger Cat? When I come over, you show me who this SGC is and I'll teach him a lesson! He won't ever dare spray your kitchen storm door again.

Poor you! I'm sure this "invasion" upset you very much! Glad things are calming down. I hope your meowmy can maybe find where he comes from, or get him fixed. Poor guy - he's just a slave to his hormones, same as we girls. :( Not always fun for everyone though ...

Hi darling! Yesterday, Austin posted about receiving a wonderful gift in the mail from his friends Mollie and Alfie who sent along a photo as well. Wasn't that nice?
Well, it was SO nice that Austin decided to kiss that picture. Apparently clueless Austin did not look before he leaped, so to speak, and he planted a big wet one on a woofie (well, strictly speaking, only a picture of a woofie. But still.)

Katie don't get that upset!

my grandpa Bobo used to take great delight in sitting on the window seat in mom's old apartment and waiting for all sorts of introoders!!!

His tail used to get as big as a bottle brush and he used to hiss and get all upset but you know what? It's nothing to worry about! It gave him all sorts of excitement and he would just sit there and wait for more introoders to come!
That's what cats do and we like it!

Love, Cody
