One of my human brothers and his son are coming to stay for a week. They'll be here this mid afternoon. I have not met that brother but once and never the boy. So it will be an exciting week for me. I am not afraid of strangers so this will be a wonderful time for me...on accounta mom's sons are all cat men.
There's a lot of hots here. 92 degrees and more each day. I still want the front door open in the late afternoon so I can watch TV but after awhile, mom keeps saying no, that it makes the cold box run needlessly. I plead and plead though. Makes mom feel bad to see me lying by the door for a long time patiently waiting for that which will not happen. But the door is open now. So I will watch as many channels as I can.

Oh Katie, you are going to have such a good time with that small person. Can't wait to hear all about it. Too bad you can't watch the TV channels out the door but it is very very hot outside right now. It scorching over here too. Try to find a bird maybe in a window. Have fun with your guests.

have fun with the boys..... we got the hots here too. fortunately we can look out the windows from our tree and the balcony through the glass door.....mom says she isn't opening anything until fall. :)

It is gloomy here this morning - no sun puddles! My human is off to BlogPaws today, so I get a little peace from her incessant prying and picture taking.
Katie, I think I had a spammer today, too. My first one. At least I hope it was a spammer 'cause I clicked on that ol' delete button. I don't think they come around all that often though. Like I said, it was my first one in 7 1/2 months.

Mine mommy monitors all our comments. We get lots of spam. But we did get rid of the word test thingy. Today we had 42 spams in our own email box! Eleven is about the most in our comments on blogger.

Oh, and Mommy said we received TWO spam comments on the Whisppy blog and one on the Tabby Cat post today but she had them moved to spam (so that Blogger knows to put them there if they try again) and then had them deleted.

92 degrees!!! Here it is like autumn with rain and cold and wind! Barely 60 here (though not sure as we use centigrade in Yurrop, 13 degrees!)

Sounds like you will have fun with your visitors Katie.
Blogger catches our spam comments so they don't get published. We only get the notification emails so we can delete them from dashboard. We changed our settings to not allow anonymous comments which cut the spam right down.

nearly all of our "spammers" are anonymous, so Blogger catches all those like nasty flies. And then Mom just deletes those. She has her settings where if you are anonymous it won't post.

we get lots of 'anonymouse' comments left that are spam but blogger seems to know exactly what to do with them. We hate the new word verif as it's bloody damn hard to read! Sometimes I think only a computer could figure it out! MOL

We got one spam today too, but that is the first in a dog's age! Hee, hee, hee! It was 100 here, and no birds were on TV. The mom drew the drapes but left them open a crack for us, so it was a lazy day. Cute pic of you playing, Katie!

Sorry you got a spam comment...we only get them rarely. We have comment moderation after 3 days and that catches most of it. We kinda like comment moderation after 3 days because if a friend comments we know about it right away. Otherwise a friend could comment on an old post and we might not see it...and that would make me sad.

Big Sigh! Wes could do with more warm here. It has been the coldest June on record for where we lives! But it was beautiful yesterday! Me is sure yous will has a great time with your human brother and his kitten. But me must confess, me is scarked of little humans!
