Got Bomit?

Kitties, Mom gives up.  She said with the three bomit traps I laid for her unwary feets during the night (when I wasn't mashed warmly against her back) she said the handwriting bomit is on the wall plain for her to see.  Just give up and get the hairball formula dry fuds.  She hates to but her home cooking (mashed up  partially blended chicken and carrot or pea..(thank you Mama of Boomie <3) and trying to feed vaseline and other things isn't working well.  So, she's fixing to throw in the towel.

I made a watery one among others last night, on top on the glass topped cherry wood cabinet.  Mom thought..good..easy clean up until while she was cleaning she saw I did a watery one in the corner of the glassed top.  It seeped under the glass and ran down into the cabinet and onto the floor but worse, the standing liquid bomits warped the wood.  Mom said "stick a fork in me, Katie,  I'm done."

I went two and a half weeks though before starting it again.  I've got 2 days and nights of bomits out so maybe mom can get a break.  Maybe.

Mom came home after working out and she's headed out again in a few.  Me, I'm in bed, my bed, resting up after a night of upheaval.  get it?  UP heaval?  Heee.  xoxoxo

  1. Oh Katie! I'm so sorry about your Up-Heavels! ...but happy you've not lost your sense of humor! Must be all that long luxurious fur. I guess this Katie is lucky to have short furs.
    Take care, friend.
    Have a hairballess weekend!
    xoxo, Katie & Glogirly

  2. Oh Katie. Does your Mommy use the FURminator on you? That removes SO MUCH shedding fur in just one stroke. It even works well with short fur kitties like me.
You stay home and rest and I'll be over very soon and you can kiss my cute little strawberry nose. xoxo

    Love, Your Boomie

  4. Our Mommie feed us the hairball formula and it, with the daily brushing, seems to help with the bomits. Now the bomits due to gulping down the food too quick are another story....

  6. You do good work, Katie! Warping the wood even! Is that the new piece Mom just bought?? That would really be a score! I agree that you need a good FURminating every day. There's actually a contest on a blog to win one but I forget which one.

  7. Katie, it's gotta be the furs! We are all shedding bushels of fur and Mommy has another full time job grooming us now. We're STILL leaving bomits here and there...will you let your Mom brush you? And maybe a hairball dry food snack in the evening.

  8. Oh Katie, you can't help it when you Bomit. Ask Mom is she has tried canned pumpkin in your food. We just heard about that this morning so don't know if you will eat that. We are having the same problem here with Missy.I have also heard that letting the kitties lick some butter, helps that tummy. We need to get busy with the furminator on Missy if we could just find it. LOL
    Take care.

  9. Katie we are so sorry you keep having to bomit - has your Mom tried Katalax - it's in a tube and Mum squeezes it on a paw and it gets licked off and that seems to keep Hannah's fur balls at bay.
Luv hannah and Lucy xx xx

  12. Bomitting is part of life here at the cottage. We brush often (which we are sure your slave does as well!) and then CLEAN quite a bit. Leo is the biggest and most talented bomittor. He always gets the cream bedspread or cream parts of the rugs or things that are liked or valued OR...well you get it right Katie?!!

  13. #1 says that the one can reforest, Ikkyu, threw up all his life. She says that some kitties inhale their food too quickly and then throw up. She had no choice but to get used to clean it up...

  15. Oh Katie, I'm so sorry.

Mere just does the big mean furball kinds and the sticky furstuff always helps her. Plus, the fancy dry food for balls.

Baby Riley last week was doing the liquid kind and did it on the table where there were important papers. They now are important papers with a warped circular design. lol

    Hope you feel better ...

  17. Oh Ms. Katydid! We iz alll shedding like crazy now & That Woman has a line of cats waiting when she gets the brush out. We didn't like the Furminator so she uses the old fashioned wire brush. WE LUVZ dat one and we rubbs our faces on it and drool & purr & dumb Elliott bites the bristles! What a goon! As long as you is getting all your nutrition and your foods is most digested you should be fine.

    xoxo

  18. Katie, we're sorry you're leaving bomit traps efurrywhere again. We hope your mom can find a way to help. I've never bomited but my sisfur Angel does about 3 times a year. She hates to be brushed so with her long hair it's bound to happen. We get Temptations hairball treats every night so maybe they do work.

  20. Ok Katie, it's time you and mom had a bit of a chat about your evacuation procedure! Frankly, it stinks babe. You need to put a sock in it!

  21. Star snickers, "I'm sorry your tummy had the hair balls but I like the way you set the traps like a good kitty should! I'm on the way over to help groom you. That will help with the hair balls some. Zaphy gets hair balls occasionally but he's much better now that mom feeds us the Iam's adult hairball food. We're fine with it and he doesn't hurk all the time. Now, lay down and I'll start with your precious head."

  22. You don't say if there is fur in your barifsodes, but if not it is possible that you have a sensitive stomach. I have a sensitive stomach AND the occasional hairballs and while I don't puke with your frequency, when I do they are definitely two separate causes. So if the hairball remedies don't work, or don't work all that well, you might want to explore some digestive enzymes or something like that for your stomach.

  26. Sorry to hear about your regurgitation problems. I'm not sure that using a Furminator would solve the problem, but even so I can recommend it highly...they do get a lot of loose fur, and that is a good thing. As I have probably mentioned, Gracie's upheavals are mainly because she eats without crunching her food.
